How are you all surprised by this

You are acting like they robbed you at gun point. Last I checked you’ll still be able to get into game tomorrow.

I mean, when BC launched. It set fire to seven orphanages!

every expansion has been a mess, true… but this is worse than usual.

Exactly.

Imagine NOT holding companies accountable for not providing you a service you paid for. No one should be deleting their characters and unsubbing over this, but they certainly need to be doing better.

16 years later.

If you aren’t going to quit over things in a game that make you upset, then you are basically telling the developers that…the things don’t make you upset.

good for you. point is you shouldn’t have to, shill

Yet everyone acts like the company murdered their first born child. Overreacting is an understatement from the reactions.

Release night this isn’t surprising. If this continues for days then it’s a problem. Like getting mad because you couldn’t get a movie seat opening night to star wars.

There’s going to be a server restart later too. Imagine the surprise in 12 hours.

WoD was down after an hour of launch for like an entire day, nearly unplayable the following days, and 8 hour queue times… was I playing the wrong game!?

It doesn’t help progression is linear and everyone is stuffed in one area like a sausage

I’m curious. Barring stockholders (large ones, if we’re being realistic), how do you expect to hold Blizz accountable if not by unsubbing? What other hold over them do you think we have as players other than our money?

You’re the type of person that benefits from the hardwork of others who saw something wrong and advocated to change things. While simultaneously saying you don’t benefit from anyones past actions and complain about how others are trying to make change where its needed.

Op’s self righteous act serves him well in life, I bet. Up on your zen pedestal, staring down at the children at your feet. lol #atruehero

Or it’s just a video game and complaining about not being able to access said game for a couple hours is the epitome of first world problems.

But yeah could be that pedestal thing you mentioned though.

So because it’s a common release issue we should be ok with that ? Man after all this time you would expect them to be prepared, like ffs man haven’t they learned anything ?

it is somewhat reasonable to be surprised at this point, the last two expansions have had pretty good launches. Im generally pretty patient, but its been 5 hours now and my patience is reaching its end.

I know, small indie company having issues,

it’s not their fault if they didn’t buy good servers with their billions. It’s our fault for buying their product and expecting the basic ability to play the game we paid.

What’s cool with blizz fanbois is that they are really smart individual ^^. Sounds logical af

Funny no one on this post is over level 50  Illidan can’t log on, I can log on low pop servers. But I have no interest in those chars.

I question how many played during the WoD release. Remember the queues and when you did get in the servers went down due to DDOS attacks?

The only expansion launch I can think of that went halfway smoothly was Legion.
