That goes for herbs and other item as well, since those items have individual markets, and people dont look at higher equality of the same item and compare, i mean we not talking super smart people here lol … they would rather post items like herbs / ore at lower quality than higher not knowing people can buy cheaper at higher quality

Pokemon is about COLLECTING. Part of the “fun” of Pokemon is to “catch 'em all.” To have, literally, every one of them.

R1’s are posted by people that randomly got the mat somewhere, or are just leveling their profession, they post it at whatever price it is currently on the AH and move on not giving it much of a thought (people that actually give a thought, about prices, quickly out level the capability of producing R1 mats, their adequately priced stock is bought out and we’re back to step 1.)
R2\3 mats are posted by farmers\crafters moving big volumes for profit, highly competitive market, constant undercuts and cancel scans, as well as price being monitored along all qualities to make sure their volume sells faster.
I love the armchair economists acting like this is actually something that makes sense. No, it’s game logic. This is not how real world economies work. Something is amiss.

Could just be because 2 star items are a lot easier to come by. Just starting out I got nothing but 2 stars.
