If there’s 10,000 players and only ~50 of them are high enough level to be in the zone with black lotus (one of the most rare and valuable resources in the game), you obviously can get more than if 2-3k of those players were 60. This is compounded by the fact that with layering, you can double/triple up on those mats the longer you are level capped. You can literally farm the entirety of your 2 years of lotus by being 60 early. There are various aspects of the game like this, but please, tell me more about how knowledgeable you are about vanilla.
Black Lotus and level 60 aren’t mutually exclusive. As a matter of fact, you would probably be better off not waiting to 60 to take advantage. Try again.
Have you ever competed for lotus before? You don’t just walk up and pick it lmao
I did not abuse layers, I solo quested and just dinged 60 (ran out of quests in middle of 58, grinded to the end)
Took a week off from work, practiced my quest route on private servers before-hand.
It’s just time investment, patience, and knowledge of the quests from classic.
Sometimes you do, sometimes you don’t. That doesn’t change just because you’re level 60.
I’ve switch characters so many times already…
First, a 17 priest on Grobbulus.
Brother wanted a less populated server, so I made a druid…then a shaman.
Druid is 20, shaman is 27; needless to say, I’ve chosen to stick with the shaman since going through the barrens on new characters started to wear on me.
How much have I played? Unsure…not all day, but sometimes I question what else I’ve done in the day. T_T
Classic was never that difficult and many have either taken time off or planned time with their friends to maximize grouping exp.
