I’m not surprised. This is a huge change so was expecting a delay. I would rather they fix things now then wait until everyone is on and can not do anything.

I always do it when its a big patch day, thats how I got dreadnaught leguards for 10k once. And it just happens today is the day hunter shoulders pop’ed up which means hopefully I finish my set and finally get that FoS achievement.

I made dinner, got all my laundry folded and now im watching Hells Kitchen and relaxing with my BF while watching the doggos chase leaves in the yard.

I’ve done all of my house chores and made my WoW “To Do” list. I’m gonna go take a nap because I’m sure I’ll be up most of the night doing talent trees and new UIs for several characters. I’ll probably check back about 5:30.
I restarted with a Hunter at mid 30’s so I could level into the new trees. Looking forward to that.

To be fair, 8 hours is a full business day. I get that you mean 24 hours, but they wont be working after quitting time.
They shoulda just said 6 from the start and surprised us if early.

Been playing since vanilla, this is literally every major patch or expansion release ever. It won’t stop at 6PM either.

I get ya, just feels like if the game was down the whole day, or rather at least 12-16 hours, one would not even have to consider getting on and could focus on other stuff. Since that should be more than enough time to get things implemented. Or perhaps it may not be as I am no expert in that department so I cannot say for certain.

I knew they would do this. It is not a big secret among us that when new content is released blizzard always times it to what is best for west coast time and not east coast time. Just watching some anime until it comes back up.

In my mind, the time zones are:
West / Mountain / Central / East
Who is the idiot that picked East, but chose Pacific instead of West? I hear people say West Coast Time and East Coast Time quite often, yet never heard anyone say Pacific Coast Time. It’s just so dumb.
Maybe it’s the same idiot who thought Virginia and West Virginia made sense. I’ve heard so many people think that East Virginia exists. And then there’s those people that say Westconsin instead of Wisconsin. That’s a whole other level of stupid.

I think most of us that have been here a long while expected it. It is nothing new. Going to go watch a Halloween themed movie while I wait for Blizz to get it sorted.
