I highly doubt it. Alliance would blacklist AV and Ashran in force. Horde would wait an eternity to see either of them.

Fewer people in epic queue 
AV is at least fun win or lose. IoC and Wintergrasp is siege vehicle trash. Ashran is lagfest.

Players like you and I might think that way, but we’ve seen this before so we wouldn’t need to guess what would happen.
The majority of players would simply blacklist whichever two they’re most likely to lose. Some would blacklist whichever they found least fun regardless of their winrates, but most won’t.

The definition of the game has changed. It used to be - to each his own, make your own fun. Now its - conform to Blizz standards, and try to have fun despite shoddy design.

i really do not understand why alliance loses wintergrasp so much. im 17 and 5, i defend, i attack, it doesn’t matter it’s almost always a win
there is no explaining why alliance is so bad at it
Ya I have won WG attacking many times , both winning and losing SR. If we do win SR, it’s a 10 min game , otherwise it’s a long game .
Winning SR while attacking comes down to melee on our side, if they push into the flag and prevent ally from making vehicles , we will have the base 9 times out of 10.
A week after trashcan was brought back I stopped queueing for epics. I got it over 50% of the time.
So nobody in this thread remembers why the epic bg queue was added? It was added at the same time that blacklisting was removed. The epic bg queue REPLACED BLACKLISTING. Why would you bring blacklisting back into a system that replaced it? There’s only four, so if you hate two, why bother?

yeah i like the new system more for sure, just idk why my queue for that isle was an hour, just to lose it, feels bad man

I Que for epics but when WG or Ashran pops I usually leave because I can do something that isn’t wasting my time. I rather role a mile across broken glass while it rains lemon juice than do WG and Ashran. Shame too because I loved Ashran in WoD and WG in Wrath but they managed to ruin both of them.
IOC while it’s a plague too because of siege and cannons and NO ONE asked for them to do massive damage to players. I usually just take Oil Rig and camp it while hoping my team doesn’t suck. That is the only fun for me there because I got to stay away for the non pvp aspect of it.

dude, do you have a horde toon? you really have to come play with us, some good games will totally change your mind.
Winning a terribly designed BG on another faction doesn’t make it better. (I faction changed my Prot Pal when I came back from Horde to Ally) It just means I would take advantage that Horde has in a disgusting BG that I don’t want any part of. That isn’t fun. Being in a BG that the other side wants nothing to do with isn’t fun, that isn’t competitive so they should either balance them or remove them. Or at least add Blacklisting so we just can cross off the bad BGs.
The alliance doesn’t want to do these BGs so we just AFK or leave and you get free wins. If I was still horde that isn’t fun fighting a team that doesn’t want to be there. Maybe you think that is fun. I just think its a disgusting trash BGs that we should be allowed to blacklist.
I would blacklist AV, WG and Ashran. So would 99% of the Alliance. We need to address the problem.

wintergrasp isn’t bias’d to one faction or the other, its bias’d towards defense.
so basically you are blacklisting by win rate instead of learning the map.
