Hotfix for Warsong Gulch Queue Issue

Aww, you guys sound like you wanted… some changes.

Qpon, based on your guild’s logs, you raid. Does your guild use Discord while you raid? If so, you’re abusing a third party program to gain an in-game advantage. I recommend you start raiding in silence immediately before someone reports you for actions against the TOS. /s

 Yep, ran the data, this checks out.

Any bans gone out for the wsg que exploit?

Horde crying about AV when the population is the problem for it. So what do you guys propose? Artificial ques?

If that’s the case give overpopulated servers faction ques.

Great, glad we fixed that exploit. Can we fix the AV exploit where the general gets solo pulled? Every game it’s some discord pre-made zerging Drek and solo pulling him in 6 minutes. I don’t mind the 25+ minute queues. I prefer them actually. What I hate is the non-games of AV caused by this exploit you refuse to fix.

Not an exploit.

If the intent is to clear towers so that a general can be pulled without warmasters or marshals and people are using a method to bypass doing the intended thing it’s an exploit. You are bypassing the intended mechanics or play style of the game. It wasn’t fixed prior to 2.3 because it wasn’t commonly happening until then. When it started commonly happening it was fixed. It’s happening nearly every game right now which is making AV miserable. Fix this crap.

So you’re saying it’s a TBC issue? Should stay as is then.

Actually they fixed it because it affected the many many thousands of horde siitting in a ‘30mins wsg q’ only to have those 50-100 players exploiting the system to skip them for near instant games.

looks like your benefiting from it. That is why you dont want it fixed.

Just like how 95% of the Horde benefit from the lopsided wPvP. If you’re going to complain about something, don’t complain about it when it doesn’t 100% favour you.

Good job Blizzard on your first launch of a MMO!! /s

I was looking at way back machine posts a while ago from like 2006-2008 and it was kind of interesting to see how you’d see a few blue posts per day. Not everyone was civil, to be sure.

Today, the posts we get are like someone throws a scrap of meat to the rampaging hordes. If this was IRL and we were all in a room, at least ten of us would have been dead by now.

You’re absolutely right that Blizzard totally screwed up their launch (as well as other things like batching and leeway but that’s for another time). The mega servers, no faction caps, and no server locks affect the ENTIRE game and you’ll be feeling their effects forever.

But the majority of payers didn’t want Vanilla like pops on their servers because they didn’t want server mergers or connected realms. And they didn’t want faction or server locks because they wanted to play with their friends. And so on and so forth.

This is the collective fault of the players for being stupid and not holding Blizzard’s feet to the fire.

But stop with the “exploit” nonsense. This is the way it is because this is what Blizzard created.

you’re peabrain doesn’t realize you turn on voice AFTER you accept queue, you know, with the other 39 pugs

not NEARLY as DUMB as “keep blaming racials for bad pvp” LOL

Blockquote What about that needs changing?

The part they changed from the original game was what he was proposing changing. His position is more #nochanges than yours.

Did i miss something in the last few weeks? I queued for WSG 5 or 6 times in one evening with about 10 min in queue. In the last two weeks, i have never even gotten one to pop after 20+ min and wait time estimates are unavailable.

You missed AV being the only way to rank competitively so no one plays WSG.
