Like idk, pre-nerf Vashj? Which many guilds couldn’t clear.
Again who cares?
Raiding is trash tier content for nerds.

Then why do you care about GDKP? If you don’t care about raiding then why do you need to have an opinion on a pug system you’ll never interact with?
Because it bleeds down to casual dungeon runs.
I dont want to pay gold for stuff I used to get for free.
So more things that never happened.
It literally doesn’t? Maybe there’s an extreme minority that GDKP’s their dungeon runs but like… I’ve never seen nor heard of it.
and I have said this many times just because your gdkp is legit does not mean tons of other gdkps were not being abused
getting rid of gdkp was a smart decision
a ban for selling raid loot is proper action
when most fail online games allowed all their end game items to be traded / bought & sold for the game currency, wow made a great point in making the raid loot Bind when pickup and non tradable when they created wow 20 years ago.
Gdkp should never allowed in wow, blizzard should ban it across all versions of wow
And it wouldn’t be an issue of whether they were legit or not if they enforced their EULA. GDKP still isn’t against the actual EULA by the way.
That’s like, your opinion man.
None of them are legit. They all have gold buyers. That doesn’t mean they all buy gold. But if even 1 person (and it’s never that low) does that’s rmt gold that everyone involved shares.
Swipers are required for gdkp. And the people saying otherwise are lying. That’s all there is to it. If they got their wish, the loot system would cease to exist.
Hey look it’s Zaalg lying again saying RMT is required for GDKP’s. So you wanna prove people were RMTing in the original GDKP’s back in 2005? Or even easier prove every GDKP has an RMTer in the modern day?
thats an issue they have to figure out but they have a right to ban something even if you dont think it helps. until they fix the underlying issue bandaid fixes are what you are going to get
But they aren’t fixing anything. The botters are more aggressive than ever abusing mass reports and threatening players. RMT is more rampant than ever. So did the bandaid actually do anything? Or is it just pretending that they did something and patting themselves on the back?
Pretty much all high level dungeons were dominated by gdkps.
??? What dungeons? Source? Proof? Maybe a screenshot?
Or are you using dungeons as a catch all term and including raids? I was on Faerlina for all of tbc and the back half of wrath and never saw anyone GDKPing dungeons.
You can go to era right now and look for a Dire Maul group.
GDKPs are allowed there. And the end game is a trash fire for casuals.
Keep in mind the complete connection with RMT that GDKPs rely on wasn’t the only reason they were banned.
It’s a social detriment and reduces the importance of guilds.
Oh I know but they refuse to argue that point at all
We don’t argue that point because it’s a weak argument. Bad guilds fall apart when their good players realize their needs aren’t being met spending 4 hours in MC and not full clearing. This will happen regardless of GDKP or not, it’s just easier to move into GDKP than into another established guild. Surprise surprise, established guilds that are already capable of clearing the raids have established cores with an established bench and don’t take in everyone trying to move from guilds that can’t clear.
The same thing would happen with any pug system if they could figure out a way to incentivize people to actually play the game in pugs beyond gold payouts at the end.
So if I make a character, walk to org/sw and look at LFG/Trade I’m gonna find GDKP dungeons? Where people bid on Dire Maul loot? Or are you talking about hunters selling the chest at the end of the run?
