Here’s my quick opener for you that takes about 3-5 seconds pvp and world mobs it all works the same.
Stealth - garrotte for 3 CP - ambush to get 5 CP this happens in less than 2 seconds - apply 5 CP rupture and as you’re running - serrated bone spike for more damage and bleeds - poison knives (ranged dagger throw) to apply weapon poisons. Slice and dice with whatever combo points you get from serrated bone spike and poison knives.
This is bread and butter for me and a very strong opener, not super bursty but will definitely do some damage. And the SnD at the end helps get your ‘haste’ effect up and with recupe specced it’s healing is very important
I also run with the talent for 3yrd range on attacks, this is key for that rupture point as you run out of opponents melee circle.
Some extra spells on short CDs that can hugely impact your output and for little energy / CP useage:
Marked for death is a GREAT talent as it is 5combo points of whatever you need it to be for. Need to shadow step CC healer? MFD kidney 5 sec, looking for extra burst on the opener I mentioned above, MFd and envenom after applying rupture and watch the poison application you get from weapon poisons melt through some mobs/players.
Echoing Reprimand is also an absolute game changer for assassin. Hard to get used to I’ll say that but hitting a 7combo point envenom for only 2 combo points is seeing my envenom crittong upwards of 50-60k with bleeds this is serious damage. Add a shiv in their for increased nature damage for 8 sec and reduced healing from hemotoxin PvP talent. The opponent needs to react and you’ve only used CDs that will be back up very quickly.
Still trying to climb out of 1800, but it’s been hella fun for pvp and world stuff.
