It usually helps to check the sources you are citing when trying to insult someone. At least you get the last laugh, because it is definitely not there.
In case you hadn’t found it elsewhere, curses are supposed to increase the drop % chance for certain items, including the mount and Arfus. It stacks with the bonus to mount drop for first loot bag of the day, per account.
In theory the curses continue to give a higher drop % for subsequent attempts in the same day, at least for Arfus and other drops. There was a blue post stating that the curses did stack with the first kill of the day increased mount chance, last year. Wowhead and other people interpreted as the curses only working on the first attempt to the day for all items, even though the post specifically only referenced the mount drop chance. To the best of my knowledge there was never a blue post clarifying subsequent attempts, but the announcement from Blizz regarding the addition of curses implied that it was for all attempts, not the first one.
For what it’s worth, correlation is not causation, but I used curses every attempt and got Arfus last year before the even ended. Personally I think they apply to all attempts, for items other than the mount. But that’s just my opinion.

Yeah I’ve seen tons of people running past them lol.
I thought so too, so built an army of level 10 holy priests to have at it. I spent a while making all the new characters and setting up their bars/heirlooms but only got to use them that day.
The next day, I got it on my first run with my main.
