Horrific Visions are dumb. Infact the whole of 8.3 is dumb. Want to kill the last boss in the raid ? Better get your ‘legendary’ cape up to at least Rank 6, Rank 12 for higher difficulties.
Oh you wanna level up the cape ? Better do Horrific Visions as much as you can every week.
Oh you wanna do Horrific Visions ? Better grind enough Coalescing Visions to buy a Vessel to get into a Horrific Vision.
Oh you want some Coalescing Visions ? Better do dailies and assaults (more dailies) everyday.
Forced dailies to earn a currency to buy a token to enter a scenario where you can FAIL and everything you did to just get inside is gone. Hours of doing stuff you already didn’t want to do in the first place is now wasted. Just for the chance of getting far enough to get upgrades for the cape just so you can kill the last boss in the raid… what a joke.
Azerite system was already bad enough with RNG pieces and RNG traits. Now they go and give us Corruption which is even worse. RNG loot with RNG traits that are RNG even in combat. People doing double everyone else’s damage while its all RNG corruption procs. So boring. Annoying purple s**t following everyone world wide and in dungs/raids. Extra mechanics because blizzard was too lazy to implement decent fights in the mobs themselves.
So if you want to be at least half decent in this game you are forced to dailies and assaults, and horrific visions just to be able to get inside the raid. Real smart blizzard, great job guys.

Melee and hunter have it easier, none of my melee classes have any problem with it. It is harder on my casters because of cast time and having to stand still. I get the issue for casters so much ground effects you need to move out losing your cast and rotation, then there’s the zone effect which forces you to move away or suffer the penalty and still lose cast time.
I had to swap my Shaman from Elemental to Enhance, my Demo Warlock went Affliction since there’s fewer cast time spells. Not doing well with my Priest and Mage, they get smacked around. Everyone else, no problem doing full runs.

Welcome to the world of meleecraft courtesy of Blizzard entairtainment.
Oh look casters are doing rly well in ultra high rated arenas so it is ok if they feel like trash to play in all other content ; )
You do not have to do dailies!
Holy moly people why put yourself through that pain if you hate it so much.
You will get enough currency for Visions just by doing Assaults which can also give gear and a decent chunk of change.
I agree that excessive RNG is bad for the game, we shouldn’t be spinning the wheels so many times for a single piece of gear.

Is that one of the reason why pet cannot hold much aggro for warlock now?
Just because you are bad at them does not make them dumb.
You don’t need to do dailies either. Just 60 min total for invasions + minor vision per week is plenty.
i just dont find them fun.
its not too easy or too hard, i find i have zero interest to grind out currency and run them. like islands, warfronts and pretty much everything else they added to bfa, its just boring

Altho I admit it’s a bit funny to have the burning feet thing under me and just not move all “This is fine”
Probably lol, seriously voidwalker is the most useless bloody tank pet out there, literally makes things worse with his aoe taunt if you dont disable, they rly must hate warlocks from being good during mists.
I dunno, I have zero problems on my Shadow Priest and Destruction Warlock. Though I do use the Ghastly Ghoulash on my Priest, so she can just stand around tanking mobs with her face. Truthfully, with all my alts, the only one I really struggle on is my WW monk. I do at least 4 mask runs on them all though, 5 is just too much work for an alt.
Agreed! Just do the assaults, ignore the dailies. And while doing the assaults focus on events so you are finished in 10-15 minutes. Hell, do the Lesser Vision once a week. Black Empire Assaults+2 other assaults+Lesser Vision once, that’s already enough for 3 runs.
Scorched Feet is a blessing for casters if people can just not panic. Just take it and move in a direction you need to when you have to avoid a swirl or smash. I never understood peoples complaints with this, since it is 100% under the player control in when, and where they bounce.

Yeah no sheit, they really screw the whole class up, i think i will stop gearing my warlock alt for now and go for DK.
I’ve got maybe 15 or so characters Ive been messing around in visions on.
You are definitely right. Being a caster in there sucks. My more geared characters are casters and lose so much damage by having to dodge things and reposition.
