Have you even tried it ?
I have been on the receiving end of this and every time Horde has lost the bunker.
I am telling you an alliance strat which works and you are refusing to even consider it . And I am the one with the attitude ?

Horde back caps and defends towers while Alliance does not. Also while playing on Alliance I have heard “Just let them win” more then a few times. Apparently a fast lose with quick queues is better EXP/hour then a win with long queues.
Tried convincing the team or actually getting in there to wipe the Horde? Because they are two completely different challenges.
Where have I refused any strat? I want to win and I’m not afraid to die in BGs. And yes, you have an attitude.
I gave up on trying to get Alliance to backcap SHB. Without fail, only 1-2 others come along with me, we get mauled by the 5+ Horde sitting at SHB, and because by then IBGY hasn’t capped yet we all get sent to Stormpike and get stuck behind the wall of Horde. Worse, sometimes the ones who choose to come with me were the ones guarding IBGY, which leaves IBGY undefended and lets a random passerby Horde backcap it.
As far as I figure the best I can do at that point in the game is to start pulling some of the armies of NPCs at IBT into the zerg of Alliance that initially hits IBGY to try to accelerate capping of IBT and then try my best to ward off backcapping Horde.
There is so much truth in this post that it hurts. Yes, I’m also one of the ones trying to cap towers if I bypass SHB with the team in hopes of maybe beating timers.
I feel like very few are willing to do whatever it takes to win, and I’ve seen too many times recently where Alliance just want the quick loss because of the short queues and they just are leveling alts. They don’t care to win, especially if it takes long to do so.
Backcapping SHB is hard because you have a large amount of horde waiting there for most of the flag duration as they clear SHGY . You should instead focus on backcapping Icewing because Horde immediately start running up the hill towards stormpike once they capped it and only couple get left behind .
I try to backcap Icewing sometimes but it’s really the luck of the draw there. Sometimes you get Horde that mindlessly zerg forward but in a lot of games just as many defend IWB as defend SHB.
Weren’t you literally just telling me that the Alliance should try to backcap SHB?
Unless those 5 people are Guardian druids in which case, Horde has no idea how to handle them and offense crumbles by trying to kill the wall of fur.
How Alliance won the last 3 games I was in. Was fun times.
As horde I have been wiped in SHB couple of times so ya it’s possible to convince alliance to do it. Of course this means the game is gonna turtle so there’s that .
I think the issue is lack of healers/tanks.
You see, on the 6 characters I played KR (this one to get the mount and 5 others I leveled) I won most games (only 1 out of the 6 characters is Alliance), the ones I lost (as Horde) were the ones in which our team didn’t had enough healers to keep people up or tanks to, well, tank, the elites and bosses, so it we’d get crushed by the NPCs which would most of the time 1 or 2 tap basically most players.
When I noticed that I began looking at the top damage/heals on both teams and I noticed that most of the times we won, the Alliance highest “healing done” players were actually DPS, suggesting that they either lacked healers or the healers weren’t doing anything.
I noticed this pattern on multiple games.
I’ve already stated multiple challenges with this AV. I really don’t need you to explain them to me, nor do I want to bother elaborating because it’s pretty obvious.
It’d be really interesting to pull up some AV rosters from Vanilla and see if on average, there were a larger number of tanks and heals compared to Korrak games today. I could totally believe that more players prefer queueing DPS in Korrak compared to Vanilla AV, particularly in the case of levelers.
Rush SHB at the start . If you don’t rush it at the start, forget about it. You won’t get it back again .
Horde gets there before the Alliance does! Many people have already said this, myself included!!! Horde gets to mid well before the Alliance. It’s why Korrak now doesn’t spawn right away.
Had a game with 1 healer on the horde side… alliance turtled behind the bridge and killed Ice Boi twice . Game went on for 3 plus hours till I had to quit to pick up my son. We burned every alliance tower to none of ours but they just would not give up.
And it really does not matter if alliance get there 5 secs later because you have your GY behind you and your bunker commander one shoting people .
100 percent horde wipe .
We can group together , I will bring along some other friends and we will win AV for alliance
If the entire Horde team is there, including tanks and healers, and you’re still getting one-shot, that’s just bad. Plus, he should die quickly with all of that DPS.
I’ve grown weary of this discussion though.
If you think we could manage it, fine. I love beating the Horde (faction pride for PvP for me).
