About Us
We are a decade old gaming community that spans across multiple games. The Skjaldborg started out as Unoriginal Bastards Gaming and eventually rebranded to The Skjaldborg in 2011. The Skjaldborg has it’s roots in Battletech and Mechwarrior Online but has since branched out to include many games and players of all walks of life. We currently run branches in Mechwarrior Online, Star Citizen, Warframe, StarTrek Online, and now WoW Classic. We bring a structured, adult oriented and fun community to every game we organize in. We are mothers, fathers, workers, students and more from across the globe who are committed to balancing our real lives and finding time to enjoy video games as a community. The WoW Branch is led by players who all have over a decade each in WoW experience. But our community consists of casual and semi-hardcore players interested in everything from PvE to PvP. All are welcome to join our drunken shenanigans.

Intentions within WoW Classic
The Skjaldborg intends to reach 60 and begin raiding as soon as possible. We won’t be attempting world/server firsts or anything so hardcore as that. But we do intend to remain within the current tier of content, down bosses every week, and have fun doing it. The name of the game here at The Skjaldborg is fun. We’re all adults, with lives and families, we play to have fun and spend time with friends.
Schedule
The Skjaldborg will be raiding every Tuesday and Wednesday. Exact times are still to be decided once we hit 60 and see what availability the core team can agree on, but it will most likely be in the evening.
Loot Distribution
Loot will be distrubuted based on a Round Robin Need/Greed System. Loot will be labelled based on Class and/or Role and everyone within that Class/Role will have an opportunity to roll on the loot. If you win something on a need roll, you will need to wait until the rest of your team gets their share to roll again. Specifically, if the raid leader asks for casters to roll, and you’ve already won something as a caster, you need to wait. If though they ask for Warlocks specifically, you may still roll if you’re a Warlock.
