I think you may have misread that as that they won’t be at a disadvantage by moving…
So to clarify, they will not want to move if that puts them in a disadvantage.

Why don’t you come to Skeram?
It’s a shame we won’t have server-only BG queues. It’s the one perk I remember enjoying on the outnumbered faction of my super imbalanced vanilla server.
People have their opinions on stuff. That’s fine. But my two general responses are:
Just reroll? Some people have to stick to their time invested. Not to mention there’s a social element of getting a whole group of people to move. Basically never happening without an actual server transfer being available.
It’s not all bad being at a population disadvantage. However in my opinion heartseeker has gone a little too far. I’m honestly more worried about even more alliance transferring than horde in this next wave, and pushing the server to absurd levels of pop imbalance.
But who shows up to save the day?
Incentives? Well now you opended up an exploit where people arent locked into the community and are only there for the swag.
Parent: babysit for me?
No response
Parent: free swag?
Freeloader shows up for the swag. Parent goes to Halloween party. Kid loses
As a Heartseeker player, it seems almost 100% of Ally are content staying on realms where they have a massive population advantage. I’m honestly surprised why you haven’t rolled a massive Alliance disparity server yourself.
We need more guilds like <Mutiny>. I never see them 10v1 randoms out in wpvp, but they’re always raiding something and starting huge battles. They’re a huge part of why I’m glad I’m on a pvp server
This was the only ingame mechanic encouraging faction balance, and it’s gone now.
There is only one. Heartseeker. That is it.
It got to be unbalanced from ally seeking refuge from Horde Zerg servers.
Im on heartseeker…hopefully the horde only transfers will help the imbalance
The three servers I play on range from close to balance to extremely Ally dominated.
How is that any different from the Horde players on the realms they fled from? People on both sides don’t seem to mind imbalance so much when they’re on the larger side.
It isn’t, both groups are detracting from the open world experience on PvP servers, and eventually PvE as well.
It isn’t mutually exclusive.
The alliance refugees that transfereed to Heartseeker are from horde dominated servers…sooo, not sure what this post was suppose to prove.
That HS isn’t the only majority Alliance server.
By leaving their initial servers, those servers are worse off as well. The Horde of the source servers should be transfering off their artificially created PvE server for everyone’s benefit.
Show data. The only census data out there is months old.
The raidlog and rag kill data both show that heartseeker is the only PvP non horde dominant server.
Well i agree…However your initial statement was that alliance was 100 percent content on “staying” when they were fleeing from an unplayable situation. The mass refuge transfers caused the imbalance. Hopefully the horde only tranfer will help.
“I feel for any Alliance that got screwed by how they handled it.”
Don’t. They wanted to make the problem worse for all the Horde on Heartseeker.
That data is based upon wowclassicpopulation, the census addon was augmented and provided access to Blizzard’s API weeks ago.
Confirming against ironforge.pro actually shows numerous additional servers that are 60-80% Alliance.
I’d love to transfer over but unfortunately the server is just not active during my playtime when I was checking
