“But Eitrigg is a green human” is what I’d expect to be the response
Also So so veteran orc leader is a traitor for not murdering more babies or some other nonsensical thing he’ll come up with
Secondary characters do not count. I am talking real leaders. The original lines back on Draenor.
Nothing you just said disproves what I previously said
there are no important orcs left. Blizzard killed them all. Nazgrel, Eitrigg, Gorgonna, Drek’thar, and Rexxar are not major by any measure.
Names FOUR MAJOR orcs who had played really important roles in Orcish society and labels them not major
But I know you don’t understand the irony of your comment
They played no roles. They are one time questgivers.
They should really add an Orc monk npc. A former blademaster that turned his hands more deadly than any Sword.
There should be a major monk character for every race, monks should become the main heroes of WoW.
Nope. The true Orcs are
Grommash
Kargath
Ner’zhul
Doomhammer
Blackhand
Zuluhed
Gul’dan
Tagar
Fenris
Durotan
Kilrogg
Teron Gorefiend
So you want horde to be villains?
Hi, you must be new here… (I know you’re not)… that’s Erevien. While they (he?) occasionally slip’s in a good idea and honestly good point (none come to mind…) They’re mostly interested in reviving the old WC2 Horde… admittedly I’ve not played that game, but write ups suggest a more violent and villain geared style of horde faction.
Everything Thrall did was a mistake.
I was unsure if erevien’s deal was just wanting the horde to be more important or if was that, but it seems to be the case that erevien just wants path of glory 2 eletric bogaloo.
For sure, the horde would be much better being the legion lapdogs. /s
Thrall is the only real orc the horde has left.
Wc2 style orcs are caricatures of evil barbarians and absolutely nothing more than that. Even the spell casters. Hell, especially the spell casters.
I know we are all talking here in good fun, but this to me sounds like “you’re not a real brazilian unless you like football or samba” which just feels wrong.
Also, didn’t orcs get a recent heritage questline that focused hard on the orc origins and clans and all that jazz?
The dev who did it quit the company.
Effectively thrall is the only orc left that is an actual character.
and that’s only because he is a self-insert of the current Creative Director of Warcraft.
If he was the self insert, I don’t think that he’d be brought so low.
Technically, fwiw, both Malfurion and Thrall were Metzen’s babies
To be honest on what Erevien says (and fully concede this is 100% anecdotal) most Horde players I know or met want this. I will go a step further and say a good number, possibly most Alliance players want Alliance to be evil as well. Granted neither say the word evil/villain.
Azeroth seems like a place where it’s pretty difficult not to be a murder hobo and I think a lot of players reflect that in how they want there characters/factions to play out.
