I’ve been a nightelf fanboy since I played WC3 in my younger years and that’s what I wanted to play as in WoW.
Way back in 2004 I wanted to try to be a priestess of the moon like Tyrande, but the closest I could come is a nightelf hunter, since there are no warrior priestesses in WoW.
When I rolled classic, I didn’t know whether I’d just be in for a quick shot of nostalgia or whatever so I went with the most nostalgic choice, and this time I decided to roll priest.
Shadowmeld is always fun to have around, especially on a PvP server, but it’s too bad that elune’s grace and starshards
I feel like WoW kinda neutered the nighelves in a lot of ways and I don’t think they’re as cool as I used to but oh well!
And that, as they say, is that.

I’ve actually killed well over 200 people so far just at level 38. As a warlock i’m sure your experience with druids is different than most, since you can just spam fear, but believe it or not druids in world pvp are one of the best gankers in the game.
Horde, originally was alliance but bros friends wanted to be horde (and I only went alliance originally cuz older bro).
I am fine with either, not too picky. Just a game lol.
Heh, ever since I was introduced ti the Iseikai genre I’ve done the same. Only making characters that I’d want to be if I were somehow transported into the game is a quirk of mine. Oddly, I just can’t see myself being any of the Alliance races in WoW, but I picked elves or humans in all the other MMOs I’ve played. FFXIV was hands-down the best environment for that bit of head-canon.
I suppose in WoW, the undead fit the quirk best. Not for the purposes of being edgy, but because serious chemotherapy significantly reduced or killed certain physical drives so the thought of not having them in the game too isn’t terribly bothersome. I’d rather have a hunch and janky gait than a stick up my bum when running. Lol!

I played alliance in Vanilla. I play alliance in Classic. Only seems right…
Why choose when you can have both.

In classic I am rolling the alliance because…
-
I played the horde during vanilla time, been there done that, so wanted to experience the story from the alliance side this time.

Horde racials are too good, especially the undead, I felt like having some challenge to play my class instead of relying on the racials for PvP.

They don’t have Gnome.
Pally buffs are better for druid tanks. Powershift feral can shift forever if pally judges wisdom on mob. Alliance is better for bear and meow meow.
I didn’t choose the Horde; I chose the Forsaken. All of the rest of you will soon join Us in undeath.
Seriously though, Forsaken needs to be their own faction.

Imagine a human being wants to play as a Human in a fantasy game. Very interesting.
Uh… hey?
On the flip side, I’ve seen a lot of “Humans are boring”.
Must say something about oneself.
