You’re so not canon.
Horde needs to drop its current “leadership”
But the writers don’t like Horde so they stuck
This is super cute to me since Ally have been in the dust for the majority of the game ![]()
Better to be a lil dusty than to have every strong leader of yours either killed off or exiled, only to get replaced by The Cringe Council ![]()
edit: though Alliance losing Varian was a pretty big loss at least. he got done dirty
I just want Shadow Priest Anduin, Idc about anything else.
He went out like a beast, not like Tirion. Dude jumps off a broken zeplin to buy time for his people. My god, what a Warrior leader. <3
He didn’t call Sylvanas out for being evil, he just called her a bad name. He was the first one to go psycho like she did. And he did that all on his own.
I agree, I find it interesting how some people will say the Faction conflict is tired and played out but don’t feel the same way about (Incoming cosmic big bad, lets work together!). Working together is more interesting if there’s conflict to begin with.
The player base seems to lack nuance in their opinions. There’s more than enough room in this game for there to be conflict between various races without a need for all out war between Horde and Alliance, and there can be room for all out war between the two and still have some players and sub-factions to take no part in it. There are countless neutral factions in game, where players could find common ground away from the war. In times of " relative peace" there can still be tensions and skirmishes breaking out here and there.
This isn’t a radical concept, we’re just too used to 1 dimensional writing. For some reason everyone wants to say you’re dumb and your opinions suck if you like Faction Conflict, likewise players who like Faction Conflict will say the same thing if you like Cross Faction Play and Cooperation. The sad truth is that Blizzard has cheaped out on writing both sides and is incapable of delivering a story that isn’t full of plot holes, retcons, and and goofy bs, you might find that you’d enjoy the story telling of a well done Big Bad with Cross Faction Cooperation if it didn’t suck and likewise you might find you like a well written War Narrative composed by someone who actually knows what they’re doing.
THIS GAME LACKS COHESIVE NUANCE and it brings out the worst in it’s players, a bunch of cry babies who only wanna hold hands with their friends and confront the little N’Zoth head inside N’Zoths head regardless of race, and a bunch of cry babies who just want to make war in their war game, neither of which are capable of seeing the others perspective and both of which fail to notice that the real problem is Blizzards inability to write a story that satisfies both, and it wouldn’t even be hard.
The story in TBC was terrible and it was the beginning of the end for the Horde. So many horde characters were killed…
The problem is forced faction allegiance. If we weren’t chained to the Alliance and Horde, then fine, there’s no problem with AvH content getting as bloody and as nasty as they wanted. Hell, AvH could serve as purely PvP-oriented storylines, meanwhile PvE players would join and associate primarily with the neutral factions dotted about Azeroth. The PC could be hired on as a temporary merc by the big factions (War Mode, PvP questlines) or leave that service and return to PvE neutrality until they got feisty for a fight again.
Forcing the player into a faction is a huge mistake.
At most, faction for PvE players could be difficulty working with some of the races/other faction (like humans/the alliance might be leery of Trolls or orcs) but as long as they are with the neutral faction they are just watched.
I too want to see the faction war reignited.

Always a blood elf
Well, I’d say more that you’d basically go through WoW’s PvE questing through these agencies, like the Argent Crusade, or the Violet Eye, or whatnot, instead of primarily through the Alliance and Horde as it is right now. Then, when you’re done with that faction, you move on and do other things with other factions. You’d essentially be a free agent, joining and leaving factions as need and will demands.
and I I was thinking was your race might dictate how other races look at/interact with your character. Think if it like those that are questing through the neutral agencies have reps from both factions, but orcs/trolls start at unfriendly with humans/dwarves/Night elves/etc where as Tauren start at neutral with all alliance races and frindly with horde ones.
Someone hasn’t been paying attention since Warcraft 3.
Well, I can see why Alliance-aligned agencies might look askance at an Orc, or Horde agencies would be reluctant to work with a Human, but organizations like the Argent Crusade or Cenarion Circle should have zero issue with them as temporary co-workers. Neutral until proven otherwise, though perhaps class might influence things here; Druids would obviously be a bit more welcome to interact with the Circle, Paladins and Priests the Crusade, Shaman and their Earthen Ring… Hunters and the Nesingwary Expedition…
Proud of the violent genocidal embrace the void era. Tells me all I need to know.
Garrosh made this game unpredictable.
It isn’t our fault that the writers keep constantly writing the Horde into a corner due to their own incompetence.
Some people take this stuff too seriously.
Folks are allowed to like “evil” characters without it speaking to some deep maliciousness within their souls. Vader stans aren’t more likely to be psychopaths than Skywalker stans. What people enjoy in fiction isn’t really a red flag.
Side note, hey Ard. Good to see you still around.
