Horde Needs Moms (and Dads)

Oooh! And a mailbox. I was playing around in classic and realized Darkspear tend to get tired after building the 3rd platform and often forget to include things like inns and mailboxes.

Sounds like fun. But honestly, that’s if blizz even remembers the darkspear island even exists

And in Warcraft’s world the body could be long gone. Either eaten by some Scourge or melted away in the plague bath Southshore experienced.

Or maybe she still truly not over their deaths and don’t particularly want to do anything to remind her of their deaths? That she would either rather forget or move on.

You’d think after they put a whole boat going from there to Zandalari that they’d at the very least put a flight master there.

What an oddly contrarian position to take on this. I feel like you just want the potential story buried and gone because this child isn’t going to get Capital City back for you.

The funniest thing about this has to be that when you cross the bridge to leave the docks (the ones connected to Zandalar) you find yourself caught in a war front between the Darkspear and a bunch of Naga that’s been going on for 15 years

WELCOME TO KALIMDOR

I am literally telling you I expect her daughter to end up as the leader of the Scarlets and she and Calia will likely end up battling each other.

Having said that I dont think Calia is the type of character to be searching for ghosts or outwardly lamenting the loss of her family.(she has not mentioned her father or mother for example, and only mentions Arthas because he was the source of so much harm)

Any personally, my hope of any Human/Forsaken reunification would more likely be with Calia more so then her daughter.

Look I totally understand that you like so many of us have also lost all faith in Blizzard. I get it, I understand. This entire forum lately has been just a cemetery of grieving people standing over the tombstones of plot threads that were murdered by minimal effort or indifference.

But, if Calia’s daughter was alive, and wasn’t a scarlet crusader, or in their custody, what would you have wanted to happen then?

But to remain on topic, I would love it if more healthy families appeared on the Horde, sorry for the thread derailing.

I’m trying to branch out and not focus so much on things I wish the Darkspear had that would bring them up to the same level as everyone else. Reminding me how much I wish we had even a mid-sized hometown is not helping! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Neither was doing the Gilneas reclamation quest. Like, don’t get me wrong, I am happy for the Worgen players. This was a long time coming. But I can’t help but be a little envious that they basically got a second heritage set and their kingdom back. And then I met up with Shandris and listened to Tyrande talk about all the real estate the Night Elves have now (which honestly felt like the devs reminding the players that the Night Elves are doing fine) and how they intend to still reclaim Teldrassil someday. Damn. I wish the Darkspear had that kind of ambition. Maybe put up a fourth building before calling it quits guys? Malaka’jin, Bambala, Echo Isles… is that the best we can do? Really!?

But now I am derailing my own thread. Families! Let’s save Vol’jin’s son y’all!

Saved it. :sunglasses:

Honestly, the whole soul-orb thing which appears to be the end of the storyline feels a lot like a reference to how Jaina, Thrall, and Cairne saved Helscream in Warcraft III by trapping him in the trinket and purifying him with rituals.

I’m certain that could be the way forward, and heck, why wouldn’t Loa-Voljin be the one to help with the ritual as his moment to return to the story?

A bit more modern, but I found it hilarious if you go past the greymane wall you suddenly are back to forsaken actively working towards eradicating the Gilneans.

I think you fundamentally misunderstand why I am kinda hoping she is either a scarlet crusader now or captured by them. Simply put, if such an event were to happen Calia’s daughter would likely only have two fates. She will either be killed off or she would end up reunited with her mother/we beat some sense into her to leave the scarlet. Suffice to say, we can still have a happy ending for characters while not totally cutting out the drama/suspense of it all.

reminder we still don’t have a name for Talanji’s mother

Talanji fell off the face of Azeroth after BfA. I don’t think we will learn anything new about her for a long time.

There’s a SS showing that she’ll be in The War Within.

Oh really? That’s actually exciting. I was not aware of that.

The last thing I’d want for Thalyssra is to be pregnant BEFORE WoW: Midnight. We need mama in fighting shape, looking and feeling her best for her cgi cinematic debut. :nail_care:t2:

The baby making between Thalyssra and Lor’themar may commence after they save world in Midnight and not a second sooner.

The thing that has always bothered me about that SS?

We haven’t even heard of alpha testing going live, let alone beta.

DF was supposed to have proto-trolls. WoD had some time spire shenanigans going on in Tanaan. SL was gonna have some dark truth about Baine’s people. And like… A dozen other storylines told would happen in various expansions that never did.

And we haven’t even been told Talanji’s in TWW or what she might be doing, we just got some screenshot.

So I’ll trust that she shows up when we at least see some beta footage with her.

That’s fair.
