Blizzard needs to fix PVP. You used to be able to go into Arathi and earn as much honor or tokens as you wanted. Now you have to wait more than an hour just to be insanely outnumbered by Alliance players. This is BS. Fix your crap
This sounds like a you problem. I see plenty of horde in every zone.
Oh cool. One of the alliance thinks there is no issue. Thanks for your insight, but you are seeing things if you think the populations are equally represented.
Oh no

I actually agree with you to an extent. More often than not the numbers are insurmountable and in my opinion it doesn’t make it fun for either side. Need some zone buffs for the outnumbered factions in my opinion.

I was doing a lot of Void Incursions last weekend including the side events. There were a fair number of Horde around. It’s still mostly Alliance, but just enough Horde to promote random 1v1’s.
Have you considered joining Davey Jones Locket - a commuinity that premades in random bgs and epics?\
edit - my bad misunderstood the topic.
I play both Horde and Alliance and I agree 100% - it’s a completely different experience playing Horde in War Mode.
Like a lot of wPvPers I use Worg Steaks and the amount of green icons I see on my minimap flying around zones as Alliance is way, way higher than the number of friendlies I see on Horde. There’s just usually no one around on Horde.
This is a routine, repeatable issue. The only time I see more Horde is when I happen to shard with a Horde crate farm. Organically though just traveling through the zones, doing my world quests, or farming materials, the numbers advantage Alliance have is typically pretty overwhelming. As Alliance, I feel like it’s pretty much guaranteed I’m going to get the crate. Like 95% of the time, even when no one is in a group, each crate just has double or triple the Alliance presence over Horde.
I’d really like if someone at Blizzard that has access to whatever data is necessary to determine if a shard is balanced to give an update and say whether it’s working as intended. It really doesn’t feel like it is. Whether it’s at WQs, at the crate, or just traveling through the zone, I run into significantly more Alliance players than Horde regardless of which faction I’m playing at the time. I’ve noticed this on both RP servers as well as typical-server WM shards. The difference is unreal.
Buddy, blizz already knows, EXACTLY who and what and where.
Did you expect them to actually…. fix something? Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Get back on your hamster wheel. Yes. Good player. Now spin. SPIN AND BE HAPPY WITH THE SLOP WE PROVIDE.
Even when there is horde around, they are reluctant to wpvp. Most horde are in war mode strictly for the rewards and not to pvp at all.
When you always feel outnumbered and when you try to form a group to fight back and get zero engagement from local chat, defense chat or LFG then you just give up and turn wm off. Overtime you simply get a snowball effect where horde doesn’t play with war mode.
THIS IS WHY removing crate conq from old expansions is a mistake. Horde can at least gear as fast
No, horde need to get it together and stop playing victim.
You just join a raid doing crates and then you can do them in the current expansion.
I’ve just turned war mode off. It’s not worth it because the horde is apathetic towards wpvp.
I’ll probably get my tour of duty achievements by completing the weekly quest farming this expansions dirt piles.
It’s a real shame honestly. Too many people cheese or completely outnumber you and horde never forms groups.
I couldn’t agree more.
my servers population was %99 horde %1 alliance. but now especially wm on i see at leaste ten ally around crates and maybe few horde.
they did by just turning off WM and not engaging with it at all.
That’s just sad and pathetic.
Even when alliance was the underdog I always stayed out there fighting.
I die a lot but I never cry and I always come right back.
I don’t think anyone is inherently ‘crying’, if you call balls and strikes Alliance gets all the open world PVP goodies because there is at least 15 of them at a war crate to maybe a few (if any) Horde. That being said, if they did it correctly, the outnumbered faction should get a buff so they can actually compete against the mob. So 5 against 1 could actually be a fair fight. It needs to be on a sliding scale though. Because if that ever happens, you know Alliance would jump ship to join the Horde side until Alliance was an underdog. If you feel like it constitutes ‘crying’ to want the math to absorb the variance… then maybe it is you who is crying. We are all obviously adults playing a video game and when people propose the absurdity of ‘fairness’ in the game, your first instinct is to diminish… says a lot about you.. if we are being honest
