Horde heroes that should have survived

Man, now I really wish Kael’thas had been part of the Horde when the Purge happened so we had an excuse to see Kael’thas and Jaina get into a massive magical duel while the PC and Rommath rescued the Sunreavers.

It could have been awesome under anyone´s writting direction but Golden (she would have nerfed him so princess Jaina could make her usual Mary Sue portrayal… I mean she conveniently saved Arthas sorry butt on her book rigth at the moment Kael´thas had him dead so, who says Golden wouldn´t have screwed up with the Prince in the Purge scenario?).

Zul’jin
If the HE and Forsaken can get over genocidal orcs the trolls can get over some missing land. Old horde just beat their members into working with us. Instead we got Budd going on a treasure hunt. What a waste of the apex troll lore figure.

That’s not what I said.

Also you’re currently allied with the alliance nation that tried to assassinate you.

You mean the one that killed and ATE the guy who did it?

That´s EXACTLY what you said, Mr. “QQQQ Y Belves rolled Hurde!!! Muh munster and poop-coverted Hurde!!”.

You implied he was murdered in the villain bat altar to make the Belves roll Horde… newflash, they can totally roll Horde WITHOUT making him a villain (quite the contrary actually, Kael´thas was certainly a much more anti-Alliance character AND was the weirdo thalassian elf that wasn´t preocupied with turtling his nation behind a shield -why do you think he stayed in Dalaran for so long, hmm? cause he wasn´t in agreement with the cultural isolianism of his people, duh-. He would have made for a better case for Belves rolling Horde than Lor´themar, dear. Especially cause he wasn´t a ranger supposedly involved in repelling the Orc invasion in the Second War.

Also in regards to “being allied to Dalaran”… well that´s what happen when the face of the arcane on your race is a joke character basically constructed as an ode to pathetic and spineless characters (this happens cause of Mr. Aethas “Lul, there we come again with the n-esim iteration of my Sunreavers taking my autorithy as a joke!!” Sunreaver!! What were you expecting, coherency when such character is involved?

It’s just interesting that people like to blame Stormwind Humans for what some Lordaeron dude did.

No different than blaming the current Night Elves for the catastrophic events of the past when the “Night Elves” responsible are the Highborne Night Elves who are overwhelmingly either Naga, Blood Elves, or Nightborne… two of which are Horde affiliated.

I really feel like Kael shouldn’t have gotten the villain bait. he would have been an amazing racial leader and his attitude towards humans would have made all the story arcs with dalaran more interesting. Could you imagine Kael showing up with Rommath at the purge of Dalaran it wouldn’t have been the purge of dalaran it would have been the battle of dalaran

All orcs, undead, trolls, etc. look alike to most humans and are consequently treated alike, complete with torces and pitchforks. So why shouldn’t others look at humans and treat them alike with the same disregard?

Wait are we RP’ing?

I’m feeling confused about what’s being argued now.

nothing that i know of. other than a noob who replied to me with fake lore and went on and on, all because i listed Kael Sunstrider as one that should have survived and what blizzard did to him was wrong on so many levels.

oh wait- i remember. because apparently, Kael wasnt a horde hero lmfao. some people, i swear.
Kael was just as strong in his hatred for the alliance and humans, as Varian was with his hatred for the horde and orcs. The only difference is, Varian didnt get crapped on and was given a progressive story that allowed him to grow out of it.

I hear a lot of people claim kael was never horde, but I remember BC well. Bright eyed, ready to join kael in outland. Shocked and dismayed by the upcoming conflict with illidan. Then I hear TK is a raid where you kill kael and I was like, No that is wrong.
They said you need to join him in the BE intro! THERE ARE STATUES!

the saddest part about this, is that one point in time- Kael was very neutral minded, in how he seen the outside world. he didnt want to be stuck behind closed doors or on a throne, he wanted out and to see the world. thats why he went and studied in dalaran. he also wanted to know what it was like to see and interact with other races. humans and such. the high elven prince with such an open mind and betrayed so viciously.

i recommend people watch this video on him. he even defended dalaran his self. as a part of the circle of 6. start it from the beginning.

Legion is over it’s time to come home, Nazgrim.

stahp I’ll cry.

At least we can take comfort in him still being around. I would seriously eat up any excuse Blizzard gave us to bring Kael back into the game.

Rommath could just step up more. He already is a kael-lite.

Yeah, that’s better than bringing back Kael for fanservice. More Rommath less Aethas.

Given those Cata soundfiles I feel that’s monkey-paw territory. He’s ‘safer’ out of the spotlight.
