Some of what you’re saying is true, but you’re also unknowingly highlighting a problem here:
So yes, Shaman have been placed in melee groups to provide SoE + WF. A resto shaman providing their group WF is not the same as a Paladin providing Horn though. WF is a massive enabler. If the holy paladin could provide WF however, okay now we’re cooking. Horn + WF? That’s just like a shaman twisting… And now it’s more reasonable/viable for a holy paladin to be taking up a melee’s spot in that group.
With how Horn existed previously it just caused further congestion and problems with buffs. It was implemented very poorly. Again, if Paladins were a WF provider I think it would have made a lot more sense.
Also the comments/claims that ‘Alliance have a better version of WF from ferals’ is pretty dishonest - Horde also have feral druids lol. You guys can also reap this benefit, it is not unique to Alliance lol. You guys had WF in P1 from Ferals just like we did, we didn’t have it ‘before’ you.
