Classic AV is a long match, you don´t win in 5 like at retail.
I wish retail folks would not play classic and if they do, stop trying to force others into their retail mindset.

There are no brackets, the caps from rank 12-14 are like 30-40% less than you would have had to grind in 2019 (that’s not even accounting for the accelerated ranking introduced in SOM). Everything will be ok, embrace the tortoise!
Newer retail (like I was) learned from the players who supposedly played since beta in 2003/4 lol to speed run this.
I didn’t bring speed run to AV. It was taught to me in legion start.
Only the 15 KAV brought back old school av. But it was tricksy about. It was decent xp to keep seeing towers respawn say every 30 minutesn(or whateve it was). So it had the 2 hour matches.
BFA was just so bad to level in…we didn’t rant about 2-3 hour AV’s. it was better than BFA story questing lol. I loved those 2+ hour AV’s.
WE TURTLE THEY SUFFER, if you ain’t spamming this every game you’re going to get farmed.
It’s funny because usually it’s alliance that stack mages and hunters on the bridge. They ruin the horde push then horde recall to their base SO if turtle happens it’s your own fault.

exactly. I was stuck in miserable 6min rush wins until mages and hunters started to slow us
a) just west of SHB
b) just east of IWB
c) on the bridge.
After that started happening, horde started defending too.

Fun fact, Nova Instance tracker tells you the total honor you earned from a match. You can open it up and look, and yes I do.
People who don’t PvP and just afk at keep waiting for cap earn a lot less honor.

Someone doesnt know when diminishing returns are calculated. Stay mad.
The majority of honor you get is from killing LTs, bosses, and capping objectives. You get very little honor for killing other players. Especially if that means not being able to complete the objectives.

Long queues which turn into long epic matches where your faction is beaten into submission and your morale is thoroughly crushed? Your terms are acceptable.

Definitely having a lot more fun now as horde. Also makes it even better to see alliance players whining on the forums because of it, love it!

What is the AV time for ally atm? Horde is between instant and 2mins (off topic i know)
It’s pretty much instant. As an Alliance I’m still winning the majority of matches, even when Horde tries to force a turtle.

Blizzard just needs to do what they did in SoD. We had the same issue. Everyone was spamming AVs, WSG and AB were 100% dead.
Blizzard increased the amount of tokens you got in a losing WSG/AB from 1, to 2, and increased the honor gain from turning in AB/WSG tokens (NOT AV) by a large amount. Suddenly WSG and AB were the best honor farms and they started popping off.
