Yeah, no.
Just stay being Paladins and DK’s
Leave being druids to us cows and trolls.

Could you imagine Vulpera Druids? OwO
Sadly, I can’t.
Vulpera having access to mages and warlocks was already enough for a stretch; Druids are rather unthinkable for a race of scavenging desert thieves.
They’d be the best druids ever
I’d rather not.
If you actually look into the lore Vulpera actually have a very unknown history stating that they’ve only ever known the deserts which brings up a lot of questions because Vol’dun used to be a jungle also should mention of all the races on Zandalar they are the only ones with no loa so druid lore could be easily developed as for casters what’s too say they wouldn’t of met people who taught them or even just scavenged books and scrolls there’s a lot of logic and possibilities for Vulpera classes if you use your imagination
Why are you implying that I don’t understand Vulpera lore? They have a very limited amount at the moment, there isn’t much to learn. Like Void Elves, they are more or less a blank canvas at this stage of their development.
However, in all of my interactions with Vulpera in Vol’dun I never once saw them use demonic or arcane magic of any kind. At all. Not even a single nameless NPC.
Until Blizzard expands the Vulpera lore, those two classes make no sense.
I’ll have to agree with you on Vulpera Warlocks. They really don’t make sense at the moment.
The real answer is because blizzard said so. There is no lore reason in this thread that holds any water when all you have to do is look at void elf’s to see what I’m talking about.
Blizzard retconned that entire faction of elf’s into existence.
When a race shows up out of nowhere and the main void elf magister repeatedly has to tell you (everything you speak with him) that he’s always been in silvermoon and totally didn’t pop into existence blast expansion, you know it’s bull.
Blizzard can make any race any class. They just need to write in how a group of blood elf Druid have always been there practicing in secret after being told they couldn’t by Romminoth.
Sounds stupid right?
I could understand why you’d believe so. Having played my fair share of MMORPGs in the past, I’m rather used to sudden changes and things being invented literally five minutes ago.
That said, I think that my contention comes from the fact that Blizzard tries to simultaneous claim that the lore is important, while dismissing it the moment the ‘Rule of Cool’ rears Its face.
I do wish they’d pick one lane and stick with it, it would be easier to follow at any rate.
“I don’t see them in game so it’s not allowed” that’s a petty excuse by that logic most of the class choices for allied races make no sense lol " I saw no light forged drenai hunters therefore they shouldn’t be hunters" is basically your logic
One of the primary Lightforged you meet is an Archer, a Hunter if you will. You can also see many Lightforged Archer NPCs throughout your questing on Argus.
My logic isn’t “I didn’t see it, therefore it’s not acceptable!”
My logic is I’d like to see it, therefore I can appreciate it.
As far as I can tell you just don’t understand what “fantasy” means and/or are just trying to find a reason to complain about Vulpera
Why would you assume that? Because I question parts of the lore that don’t have collaborative aspects I can easily identify?
I have no issue with the Vulpera themselves, absolutely none. Zero. Nada.
As someone who appreciates the lore, I do have an issue with Vulpera Mages and Warlocks, because I can’t see anything in-game that would verify why they have access to those classes.
My imagination works just fine; my Vulpera Mage gained her power from studying under an exiled Zandalari. That is, however, just head canon. I want the Vulpera lore to be expanded so I can appreciate them even more.
Ok makes sense sorry for assuming things I have a terrible habit of getting defensive but yeah with Vulpera it’s definitely a lot of head cannnon involved with classes currently and their lore could definitely use some expanding (hopefully in a future expansion) but honestly rn Vulpera lore has so many loose ends like I don’t know whether its intentional for a future expansion because apparently they plan expansions way ahead or just bad writing
There is absolutely no need to apologize.
As a Gnome player I am well acquainted with the stereotypes the smaller races receive on a regular basis, a stereotype even harder for Vulpera players as you are a furry and fluffy creature too. I’ve seen the vitriol on the forums, you have my sympathies and full support.
As an aside, there is a passing mention in the War of the Ancients of a Fox-like Loa who battled alongside the others. We have no name of this Loa, and outside of being described as Gnome-like, no other information either.
Blizzard could use this being as a segue into Vulpera Druids, if they recall that it exists. So there is a potential for Vulpera Druids and a lore connection too.
Hmmm going to look into that fox Loa it would really explain the lack of a Vulpera Loa and thank you for understanding so used to people just trashing Vulpera
Honestly? Do as I do and be the bigger Gnome (or Vulpera!) when it comes to those sorts of players. They hate for the sake of hating, and they are not worth your time.
I’m out of likes at the moment, so please enjoy this beer instead.
All types of Highborne wanted to learn arcane magic. Their Night elf friends did not care for it and told them to get lost.
They did not care for nature magic and became arrogant and confident in their magic. They have a history of being bitter and out of touch towards nature magic in general.
These things have nothing to do with each other.
And no, Blood elves don’t help nature. I’m pretty sure they mutated it so it can benefit them unnaturally.
People still be out here asking for blood elf and Nightborne druids because they think that planting a tree=druidism.
