I’m just telling you my experience… It was pretty much unplayable.
It’s better that you don’t come back. The game won’t fix itself until everyone is horde. Holdouts on alliance show that controlled opposition/socket puppet (alliance) tactic is working as intended.
Because Horde players didn’t complain about long RBG queue times, for years.
Then Warlords released and a bunch of people faction transferred to Alliance.
And suddenly Alliance players were screaming about long queue times.
It obviously wasn’t the people who moved from Horde to Alliance, because they would have been complaining about long queue times back when they were Horde.
Simple logic.
I doubt this, highly doubt this.
So how would you suggest we make alliance have more players?
Forces faction changes? Blatently OP racials? Just deleting people’s horde toon?
Eh, Orc is really good.
But Human, Dwarf, Dark Iron Dwarf and Night Elf are excellent too. Human racial is super good for healers because they run Relentless pretty freely. Dwarf and Dark Iron Dwarf were really good in BFA because of Assassination Rogues and trinkets like Forbidden Obsidian Claw and Maledict. Shadowmeld is an amazing utility, especially for Rogues and Druids.
If you ask me, Alliance actually had it better in BFA. But the point is both factions have good racials. I think the problem is that a lot of races have poor racials, and it is a problem both factions suffer from.
What is relentless? That is gone now.
I can’t quit WoW… It has my soulshard!!!
This is objectively false. All top contenders in the AWC are Alliance aligned, and all encounters in the AWC were between Alliance teams. DI Dwarf racial alone puts almost every Horde racial to shame.
RP server cluster is waiting for you.
Didn’t the mythic dungeon invitational wind up being all Alliance due to superior racials?
Useless.
Byebye.
That’s because we’re tired of the Alliance and their constant “everything is so unfair”.
Like, seriously. Alliance players complain about EVERYTHING. For YEARS, now. It’s really gotten old.
Uh, alright OP.
No it isn’t. Relentless is an option still, you just have to buy the Relentless trinket.
Can i have your gold?
That’s the thing. The factions are actually balanced, according to Blizzard. It’s just that a lot of Alliance players seem to like dancing on the mailbox all day.
You’d be surprised, the racials are incredibly close and at most you might get a few hundred difference on numbers in the tens of thousands.
Alliance dominated in Vanilla WoW and maybe BC but after that it’s been Horde domination ever since. The pendulum has never swung back our way.
Let me explain this with math shall we?
Right now, player balanace is somewhere around 45-55. If the horde were to get split, that would mean that it would now look like 45: 30: 25, meaning that the alliance would outnumber either of the other two factions and likely cause whoever is the smallest post horde faction to wither to nothing due to a lack of players and likely rejoining the other horde faction (or quitting I suppose) and thus bring us back to where we are now, just with a bunch of wasted code for a subfaction nobody wants to be in and which is leaching resources that could be used to create a more complete exiperience for a 2 faction system.
In WoD all the PvPers went Alliance, to such an extent that Blizzard had to create war mode to reduce Alliance queue times.
Not quite. There was a long period where PvPers were swapping to ally in droves for EMFH.
