Horde BG Ques are TERRIBLE and will only GET WORSE

… coming from a kid with insta ques lol

Coming from the kid who jumped on the bandwagon faction but can’t handle the result of it. Just another player looking to be bailed out of his poor decision making.

Hawtdots I couldn’t agree with you more. I played Ally back in the day and my friend wanted to play Horde this time around. We grinded to 70 ready to pvp and we sit in a 54 min que just to que into a Premade Faerlina group and watch the Horde almost give up instantly for 25 honor. Just to que into another 50+ que. This is dumb.

I hear about bugs and issues from many psevers, but it sounds like many later ones were chill.

I never wanted to risk my account so I avoided playing on them. Told myself if I ever replayed vanilla or TBC it would be if blizzard made them.

Funny how Pserver are run better than “retail classic and TBC” however it’s the players own fault. They wanted #no changes and they got em.

I would love to pve with alliance as horde or do horde vs horde like I’ve seen explained about pserver.

But that won’t ever happen. We get the original version. Its more broken because of players and how they play the game.

who wants to be alliance?! lol

its gotten worse… lol

People who don’t like hour long queues? Sucks that you made a dumb choice dude. but hey - at least you’re living up to the Undead Rogue stereotype

Lol tons of horde are unsubbing right now blizzard sees this and isn’t going to let that easy money go down the drain.

My guess is PAID faction transfers they will take in the cash as well as gain subs back. We’ll see if that fixes the issue I doubt it but at least if Eno people switch the problem will be alleviated.

To all the alliance trolling on the forums ATM enjoy it while it lasts.

You see this trash? This guy is pointing at another problem. This dude is expecting OTHER players to faction change if Blizzard will let them. Absolutely zero personal accountability and nothing but expecting a bail out from everyone else rather than solving the issue yourself.

Well, we did get changes, that’s the problem.

All this started at the beginning. When vanilla was released. We didn’t have a list of servers in advance to pick and choose where we would end up with friends. That was one thing that lead to a lot of people piling up on mega servers.

Secondly, xrealm bgs weren’t originally in place. Players I feel would have been more opted to balance their server if they knew they wouldn’t be able to rely on other servers to play.

Lastly, blizzard doesn’t listen to anything anyway. Changes, no changes, they do what makes money. It’s very simple, everyone in the WoW community knew horde would be over populated and could predict problems. Blizzard could have prevented this by forcing faction balance on pvp realms.

I didn’t play most of vanilla as I came back to be with friends and it was never my favorite. Honestly never saw why people enjoy vanilla so much but that’s me.

So I never payed attention to what fully happened. Yea server balance is all on blizzard at that point posting servers would have helped and or blocking it.

Potential solutions to this issue:

  1. Enable faction transfers. Not only would this be an incredibly lucrative option for your company, but also, it would not really mess with any of the ingame systems. The excuse of Horde gets Shamans, Alliance gets Paladins to not allow this is no longer relevant in TBC.

  2. Enable Mercenary Mode for BG queueing. While in Vanilla Classic this would have gone against the RP element of the “Horde vs. Alliance” ethos, it no longer holds any weight. In the most competitive version of pvp this time around (rated arena), same faction battles occur all the time.

Quit or reroll.

It’s not up to Blizzard to fix a problem the people created by all piling on one faction.

It does make for interesting discussion how the OG devs absolutely dropped the ball when it came to faction balance. They’re lucky that the game released in the early 2000s.

If lots of Horde are unsubbing, then the problem is correcting itself.

I’m failing to be convinced by any kind of proof you are providing that the queues are going to get worse. Explain how they are going to get worse?

It’s still better than playing as an alliance race. Dwarves are cool though.

While I don’t play a dwarf myself, I do like seeing the dwarf RP guilds on my server.

@Blizzard, maybe your trash company can offer people some kind of solution to this problem instead of complete radio silence. One way or another, it’s time to respond so people can stop the circular arguments.

I got no problem with any of the alliance or Horde races. I just wanted to play my original character at the start XD.

Also horde side has ques

Alliance side has losses.

Solo player as alliance have always been bad. They aren’t good at pvp, and most of them AFK. They are definitely great when it comes to premades but the small pvpers left on them band together.

But hey that’s what happens when all the pvers chase of the pvpers. Racials don’t help as the players that think they are so OP always meta chase to what side has what. It’s a small group but enough to hurt the game for us that just roll horde for asetetic.

Before someone says “You did roll horde to be op”…I’m on an RP server FFS. You think I care about being the best at this silly game XD
