Uhhhhh when was dh top. Point me in the direction of proof for this please.
Historically havoc has been middle of the pack for raid, having one tier in nighthold of being above middle of the pack.
In m+ we were never taken for incredible damage, we were taken for utility, kicks, and survivability.
Couldn’t blizzard wait till 9.1 to do this? Why do they got to neuter us midway thru a patch.
I was thinking “this is push week”, but this may be “stop playing wow and just play Valheim till 9.1 time”
Edit ok so these are 9.1 changes. Ok so maybe by that time I’ll either come to terms with this crap or I’ll be like I was in first month of SL, unhappy with how bad it feels till I come to terms.
Shooting stars nerf is nothing. It has such huge diminishing returns it’s rarely worth moonfiring more than 3-4 mobs anyway. Probably like a 1-2% nerf to overall dungeon damage, if that.
The starfall one just means basically no starsurging on AOE with extra AP. It’ll likely take all our AP to keep it up on AOE now. Also fine, nothing huge.
The BOAT nerf is kinda big. The % numbers might not work out huge since the drop-off is only 3% now. But the RNG this will add to the spec certainly won’t be fun. Instead of almost guaranteed crit for the first couple of seconds, it’s now going to be 50/50. RNG isn’t fun.
Good news is crit won’t be quite as trash for us.
Overall…meh. I’ve been playing other characters for months now anyway .
I was chatting with a few friends of mine who raid with our sister guild (which is 10/10M compared to our 8/10M) and they were checking out the Druidcord’s theorycrafters and the nerfs amounted to crazy stuff like that.
