Every patch has a drought after 5 months.
Perhaps the humans that work at Blizzard deserve a break too?
There are still humans that work there? I thought they were all slowly replaced by AIs by now.
Iād also argue 8.1 was the smallest patch in a LONG time. We got what? Invasions? Thatās it right?
The cloak stuff alone is already more than 8.1 had and is mandatory to progress on as soon as it drops since missing a week sets you pretty far behind (week 1 gives you like a +4 cloak or something according to wowhead if you do everything).
People donāt play WoW a lot over the holidays. I have not once in my like 5 years of raiding raided more than like 1 day out of the 4 around christmas (t/th week before and t/th week of). We did the poll two weeks ago and only 15 people out of 24 could make the 26th if they WANTED to (like 9 for christmas eve). Too many people are out of town or working 50+ hour weeks or whatever to sit down and play WoW consistently over break.
hence me saying a good idea for the patch to come out 3 or 4 days before christmas ā¦ between chrismas and the new years holiday alot of us has free time to play wow .
and tbh , nothing nicer than playing wow while watching home alone ,die hard, eating cookies drinking coffee while your golden retriever sits next to you . its always nice looking at the christmas tree and the ornaments on/around it while its snowing outside
Same here. I had to get off WoW Classic for 2 months before college and when I came back., I was guildless, level 30, and barely any Alliance left. Experience ruined.
āI donāt want to play Classic because I have to ignore my family and friends etc so itās a no-go.ā
āPlease launch 8.3 before the holiday vacation so that I can ignore my family and friends for new WoW shinies.ā
Please no.
I canāt imagine anyone likes new patches dropping when most of the office is on vacation.
This. After the disaster of Beta for Azeroth, I am more than happy waiting until itās ready. Thereās quite a bit in 8.3 that actually looks rather good, especially the Horrific Visions. We should prefer things taking longer for actually GOOD content than rushed out tripe.
