Honor the 1v1?

You are out and about doing your thing and you come across two equally leveled players duking it out in what appears to be a fair fight.

Do you watch from a distance?
Do you hop in for a 2v1?
Do you throw a cc on the enemy faction to give yours an edge?
Do you just throw a subtle heal out to make sure yours wins?
Do you have no clue what a 1v1 is because you’ve only ran around in a group since phase 2 launched?

I kill the capitalist alliance who is LITERALLY attempting to subjugate an Honest Laborer of The Horde Democratic Party.

If the horde is undead? Not a chance. Put them back in the grave whete they belong.

Trolls, Taurens and Orcs, it’s a wait and see.

I go back and forth on this. I like to think I do, but in reality when I’m running around solo I’m like man I need the honor sorry. I typically see this happen with both factions, at least since p2 came out. Pre p2 I definitely watched a lot of 1 v 1’s.

Try being a resto druid and having some rogue or mage come and 2-button away 70% of the honour of your 1 v 1s. I don’t really mind (BGs will be out soon, anyway), but it is a very burst-oriented system.

In fact, people like Crunchy, Rila, Kiba, etc, are basically spec’d and built to steal honour away from the Horde zergs that protect them and allow them to operate. “Oh, there’s a a nice 12 v 6 in favour of my Horde allies. I better jump in and steal 440 of the total honour!” Parasiting is actually a top-tier strategy if you do it correctly. I’m not saying any of those people are bad. In fact, many of the parasites are quite good. I’m just saying that parasiting is quite common and quite effective.

I personally try to honor the 1v1 but I can’t help to cast a fear on the enemy when they dip in hp.

I’ll let it go unless/until the Hordie gets 20% or so, then I’ll heal 'em.

Who lets their own faction die?

Kinda my mentality as well. I’m not gonna pump damage into the opponent, but I’m not gonna be a lump on a log either.

I’m gonna go ahead and say nope… but I’m also leveling still so I’d like to see anything dead that would probably kill me if they weren’t in a 1v1

No. Because another horde will be along shortly to help the one in the 1v1. If I’m going to engage, I do so immediately.

It’s a double edged sword. If you help, you’re double teaming and probably just made some players KoS list. If you don’t, you get hate whispers from your own faction. “THANKS FOR NOT HELPING YOU BIG COWARD LOSER”.

Final answer: If they are on my KoS, I’m in!

It depends. Generally, especially if its same class 1v1, I honor the 1v1.

When it’s done I finish off the horde and rez the alliance.

(I watch from stealth so the alliance doesn’t hate me)

EDIT: Unless I’m honor farming with Archy, in which case everyone is 2v1’d. Sorrrrry.

no
especially if i catch some wotop retard out alone
lmao jk they are always sitting in menethil

It’s okay, I forgive you for beating me up today :disappointed_relieved:

No I will do everything in my power to save my fellow Alliance member.

1v1s are what duels were made for

world pvp is almost never on an equal footing
