BAD IDEA that would cause even more premades just farming honor to exchange for gold.
you get more honor for rated then unrated. premades would not change.
so you want more premades farming honor for gold now?
they won’t you get way more for rated. It would not make sense to do that. On a side note. We need rated epics to be a thing.

You can already do this.
Just exchange your honor for marks of honor and buy saltwater potions. They sell for 150-300 gold each on the AH.
untill everyone reads this forum and now knows u can and floods the market lol then they go down to 5g or less.
It’s been well known for a long time. The potions only go for 20g or so on my realm.
my whole reason for saying this stuff tho is that pvp players should be able to make the same gold as raiders. just look at how much raid gear drops sell for. they make more in 1 drop then u can possibly make in a year pvp.
Ah but you have to remember though that WoW is not a pvp game. It is a storyline driven MMO that has pvp as an option. If you want to make gold, you’re going to have to explore other avenues.
originally that may have been the case but wow is a huge game now with lots of content and a large number of pvp players. Probably more then half the player base has at least participated in pvp at some point in every expansion now and a large numbers only pvp. Raids are not for everyone. There are 2 main catagorys of play. pvp or pve. it’s not like 100 different modes trying to get gold nor is high lvl pvp easy. It’s fair for both sides of play to have similar rewards. 2400+ pvp is on par with mythic raiding as far as difficulty goes.

Only takes 15 min to do a covenant calling. Just doing this daily nets you 60k/month.

60ka month is nothing. a single mythic raid piece is 500k to 1mill and they can get them weekly.
War is only a game to the devs. Wont even pay their soldiers for fighting their battles. Such a backwards world we all live in.
Selling a carry/gear? Lol you can do that in PVP too and make comparable amounts of gold. And 60k/month is more than enough to buy legendary pieces, enchants, etc.
They go for much more than that on average on most realms. My TSM thing says the regional sale average is 90g.
You also don’t really have to sell them on your main realm, if you’re trying to make gold for a WoW token or for buying battle pets (for cross-realm pet arbitrage, etc.)
Yeah they’re back up to that now over here.
True, but soon that will no longer be the case with 9.2.7 making commodities region wide on the auction house.
PVP has never been a viable source of income
