Honestly I can see that, lol. Trying to interact with some of these people, finding out that many of them you THOUGHT were just mouthy 12 year olds are actually adults…whew. Yeah, I have to walk away and stay away. I can deal with conflict when I know its just a child on the other end. Consider the source. I dont expect a 12 year old to act like a 30 year old.
But when you find out that it IS a 30 year old behaving like that…yeah…i have to put a sock in my mouth, and get out of the room ASAP before I start saying stuff that’ll leave life long emotional scars.
Youre making the wise choice given some of the personality issues with players in this game.

My single biggest obstacle? Time

I guarantee you “can’t queue for it” is the number 1 reason.

*From what I have seen the people running mythics are too toxic for me to care to deal with.
*I refuse to install RaiderIO.
*I like classes and specs that don’t meet the meta.

I don’t do low-key mythic+ dungeons because I don’t do dungeons.

the amount of defensiveness in this comment is amusing.
I hate timers. My idea of relaxing and having fun after work does not include ripping through a dungeon as fast as humanly possible and being in a toxic atmosphere with strangers.

I don’t find mythics that interesting at times. Get plenty of gear from WQ and LFR. Each day that I log in, I already have a list of things to do. Eventually gonna start on alts. Guildies run them all the times. Only dungeons I ever did were the ones required for convenant progression. Honestly, haven’t been in the rest of them. Not enough time or reason to go. Aside from farming older raids for pets/mounts. Collecting anima for sanctum upgrades and running LFR. You get bored tired after doing all that. Lets not forget torghast and Venari dailies to. To much stuff to do thats more important than mythics to quite a few players.
I raid two nights a week for a total of 6 hours, and time spent outside of that is dedicated to covenant, Torghast, and Maw tasks (this is probably 4 hours). That is 10 hours a week. It’s hard to find the time, energy, or willpower to commit more time to a video game a week past 10 hours which I already think is too much. I had been sacrificing the time to do 1 or 2 mythic+ a week but my other half made me realize the time commitment is just too steep for a normal person.

Nothing stops me from doing low level m+.
Its where my alts hang out right now.
Oh and also where I hang out too since 8 is my highest lol
Might try KSM over the next few weeks, won’t really be upset if I don’t get it though.
dungens take like 20 minets and i have to LOG OFF like rofl no
The devs don’t want super casuals doing low level m+. Otherwise, there would be LFD for low level m+.
People told them to use LFD for m0-1 as a gateway to higher keys in Legion. Denied or ignored, same effect. lol

what does installing RaiderIo have to do with anything? you do realize to do M+, you dont need the addon.

Giving you loot isnt taking pity on you…If he could give you the loot, he had the same or higher ilvl in that slot. Thats how raids work.
I have zero interest in content where I’m racing against a timer. It’s just not something I enjoy, and when given the opportunity to skip such content, I do. It’s really that simple.

Absolutely this
The moment you put the player vetting process into the hands of other players is the moment any interest I have goes out the window.

Guess you also avoid guilds and raiding with guilds…because those are player-controlled vetting processes.
I can’t tell if you’re being snarky or genuine in your pedantry.
Im being truthful, you said you avoid them because other people have control of the vetting process…just because a guild doesnt utilize a more thorough vetting process doesnt mean it wasnt in their hands. Plenty of M+ and M0 runs go on without a thorough process as well. Participating in the content with said guild and friends would remove that direct process as well.
