Can’t even bash people who RMT anymore, try to farm stuff to make gold and every location I go to find herbs there is either bots or some kind of mafia…For example I went to farm Gromsblood in Desolace over a few days and what I see the moment I show up. A hunter spamming eagle eye rapidly scanning the whole loop with another person person or two running around grabbing…ok I layer…same thing…ok some are ally, I am going to just pvp and get rid of them…the others on different layers come over to your layer and now camp you until you leave…and now you are getting /w in broken english with threats and them talking trash…great game…go farm gold…well guess what y’all you frickin can’t…add WoW tokens or stop caring less about people RMT because its the only two ways people can really get gold efficiently.
Could increase node spawns greatly to where it floods the market and prices of everything lowers…or there is an abundant of nodes that people can actually farm stuff they need.

Sounds like liberal use of the report feature is called for in that situation. And yes, we still don’t like swipers or RMTers or Bots.

you think report feature works LOL they spam report you instead and because its the automated system you get an auto ban xD try again.
I had a level 44 hunter try to snipe a node i was mining in the badlands and when asked if i could help them they called me a monkey in indonesian.
Then proceeded to spam LFG saying I was a bot to get people to report me because i was mining all his nodes (get owned 60% mount).
He also tried to get the people in kargath to report me for being a bot lol. I explained the situation to them and they just laughed at him.
He tried to layer to get away but i found him and just followed him taking nodes until he hearthed to TB and logged out.
Get owned gold seller.
lmao thats funny, at least you were able to make them quit probably because same faction… when they are opposite faction they call reinforcements to camp you
I dunno reported quite a few and get emails a few days later from Blizz saying thanks. So yes I assume it does work.
Picking flowers and hitting rocks will never be the best way to farm gold, just find a class specific farm/ dungeon solo. If i have 3 boosties in Lib im making like 80g an hour as a warrior

Players used to be able to combat bot gold via GDKP and alting. Now if youre not on a PvP server not really sure what you do. I must of spend 500 hours killing bots on Grobbulus.
everyone says they farm bots all the time but I see the same ones farming with no problem xD
You combat bots by buying their gold, or getting your gold cut from those who do?

The mass report discoord was setup for this very reason and you still have to get the person to say something foul to go along with the reports.

This is a really great point to look at, think of how willfully ignorant or intentionally arguing in bad faith someone has to be to believe that GDKP’s harm botters or gold sellers in any way.
It’s like saying “No no, the people cutting down and burning the rainforest are the ones helping it, the people trying to preserve the rainforest are the ones hurting it.”
Just ludicrous levels of ignorance and lying to try to push an agenda, I wonder why that is?

It was pretty lucrative to mine EPL for me because I was way ahead of most of the people. It payed for my epic mount. But now there are a lot more people and I can’t mine as many RTVs as I did last week. ZF gy solo is probably better now, even as a priest.
I used to wait stealth by herbs in Scholazar and kill every bot that landed and tried to herb. It was usually druids. This was also on grobbulus. Good times.
this been the happening since classic re=released 5years ago, those mafia control collecting rare herbs/mine, and when blizzard did add token it did not solve the problem because those gold sellers was just selling cheaper than token so most gold buyers would still buy from them instead of buying token and for the farmers to cover the value lose they used more accounts to farm everywhere.
since they are players playing even though they are 24/7 farming, they can’t get banned since reporting them will do no harm as they re not bots

This will make those mafia/bots unable to keep farming 24/7 as they’re doing now.
Why should I be punished for other people’s behaviour?
Nobody is punishing you. Go play another game if you are u happy with the service blizzard is providing. If enough of you leave maybe they will change something
