they never said they were getting rid of the factions…nor would they. it’s an established IP - and you don’t mess with those.
Metzen is on the narrative team again, i think we just let him cook and enjoy the gameplay devs have made possible. 
So you’re a PVP roleplayer and you don’t like how other people aren’t playing the game in a way that you think goes against how the factions should be portrayed?
I just don’t understand why someone raiding in a PVE guild should have to care about any of that stuff.
And I don’t see how it affects you at all, either.

Factions are antiquated and bad for the game. Segregating your playerbase for lore is completely stupid in 2023.

Yeah you’re right. All classes should behave the same with a different “skin”. All classes should be interchangeable in all facets of the game. We shouldn’t have faction guilds we should just ignore the horde v alliance narrative because being carebears with warmode off is the meta. We shouldn’t even fight in this game, we should talk it out instead because “muh feelings”. We shouldn’t have racial advantages. We shouldn’t have button bloat.
We should all just have 4 buttons and have them be the same spells and your illusion of choice with your spec shouldn’t feel impactful at all.

See, you’re pretty clearly coming from the perspective who cares about PVP and factions lore, and wants to force everyone else in the game to care about PVP and factions lore. Whereas the libertarian perspective I have is “who cares what someone else is doing in their guild? It doesn’t affect me.”

Agreed. I am coming from those perspectives because that’s what the premise of the game is founded on. Does it mean it always has to stay that way? No.
But it doesn’t mean I have to like it or agree with it.

I think after each victory, whether dungeon or raid, there should be a 30s grace period where you can be hostile to cross-faction players within the instance. Make it like a duel, where you can defeat but not actually kill the player.
It truly is insane… Idk how people play PvP anymore. Watching a fully decked out Warrior chasing after a Feral Druid in an Arathi Basin yesterday, got him down to 50K health and then it shoots back to full lmao.
Idk what the hell they did to this game but it’s pretty stupid.

War mode still exists. As far as I know… Faction capitals are exclusive. The only thing that’s changed is that now you can chat in guild instead of just chatting in a party

I mean now that I can still play with the same lovable fools I have for many years I want to make an Alliance toon. It was just such a pain to have two communities to split my time with I stuck to one.
Now Alliance, can we get a new voice for the female worgen so she doesn’t sound like a 60 year old chain smoker? Thank youuuu

No one should, but terminally online morons flock to anyone and everyone that echos their prescribed ideology.
And receding hairlines of the female/body 2 models. Seriously some of the hair styles you can see the forehead from space the gap is so big.
