Holy Priest Mage Tower help

That’s true, but I will say that the first set of stages, the add groups at the very start, are by far the hardest part of the scenario. Even the final boss isn’t so bad if you can just practice him a few times and get the spacing and timing right. The problem is, if you die once you can’t just retry him until you go through the whole scenario again.

Seems like people have already given you lots of good advice, I can only second it. Spec into every possible CC. Helps a lot to CC the rogues when they start blade dancing. If any of the mages start building up stacks of their buff from freecasting, I think you can dispel it. More than a lot of fights, you’re dealing with healing guys with pretty low maximum health, so topping them up takes priority to slow maintenance healing. Try to stack damaging abilities to focus down priority targets fast before taking a short breather between mobs while CCing. A couple really good damage trinkets might help more than healing trinkets, possibly (I’m thinking Suncaller or, if you have friends in a raid group that don’t need it, even fyrakk’s Rageheart trinket, which is on tank loot tables). It can be really hard to catch up if you fall too far behind, so sometimes the best defense is killing an enemy or two before it can start ramping damage.

Be sure to note when watching videos where you can rest for a minute to drink. Don’t be stingy with pots.

It was in Shadowlands because of tuning. Now it’s supposedly easier.

When I did it back in Legion, you could use Drums in the first phase, and then just wait in the room before the last boss for the debuff to wear off so that you could pop them again there.

Holy got a pretty big M+ dps boost in the latest patch, so if you can learn how best to weave that into your healing, it will make things a lot easier.

Use drums to lust towards the end of phase 1, then in the room before the final boss literally sit there till it’s off cd and use it again, swap talents here too and take the spirit of redemption one to increase the time in death mode, you only fail when an Npc dies not yourself.

I just completed it and got my Spelltome!

I’m so happy I finally did it! Thanks so much for all the tips guys, it really helped

Funnily enough I died and still got credit. The NPCs finished off the boss while I was an angel lol

Rite of passage in the hpriest community, really.

Seriously

I got him to like 15% and then he dropped an aoe in the last safe spot. I honestly don’t know how you can do it and have floor space left by the time he’s dead

Lots of chastise spam. And maximizing your DRs.

Didn’t holy priests get a bit of a talent rework in the latest patch? I think it was a damage buff for them. Has that made it easier?

Congrats on your victory!

Thank you!

I’ve been wanting this mount ever since it was announced and I finally made it a priority.

I also learned that I really like disc and holy priest. I might start playing one

congrats! Spelltome is one of the coolest mounts imo

It’s so cool. I’ve been riding it around and it’s awesome. The /mountspecial animation is really really cool

Stop knife dance with shackle undead. You can use it as an interrupt and not necessarily as an all out c.C. Make sure to purge dispel the arcane casters. Fear or shackle the enraged ads. I don’t remember exactly what I did when it came out.But I don’t remember it being too bad.

Once I got the hang of the first stage, it took me 3 tries to beat the rest of them. That first stage is by far the worst

My first attempts I had no idea shackle even worked on the ads. It was awful lol

I have been debating trying this again but it was so painful back when I completed it when it was new content. I remember I also died and they finished off the boss during angel form. I was about to start cursing thinking I had failed at 5%.

this is incorrect, you don’t need to dispell mana sting…

That’s it mayne, that’s it

Good job :+1:

Congratulations, and well done!
