Blizzard wanted the best of both worlds but fell flat, if they wanted two different styles of healing they should’ve made two new spec trees, like how priests have holy and disc.
But as always blizzard got into a crunch and ran out of time and shipped pally in the state its in.
And I doubt we’ll see any sort of major rework they “need” to be focused on druids and their 10th rework.
