In order to address a game performance issue with Beacon of Light use, we’ve made the following changes via hotfixes that are now live:

I’m not playing right now. Was there a problem with Beacon and HotS?
This is really going to hurt hpal group healing in dungeons if you aren’t playing a full melee comp. Our Dawnlight>Virtue windows are the only thing besides toll that effectively deals with unavoidable group damage outside of wings. It’d be much better to just slow the tick rate of both spells without affecting their overall healing or their interaction with beacon.
You’re still a god within wings even without dawnlight transferring to beacon. Even more so now that spenders got buffed by 20%.
Yeah but it’s outside of wings that I think may be a problem. If you’re playing with 3 ranged and they aren’t stacked during aoe damage Dawnlight will do next to zero group healing. Also for anything the group has to be spread like last boss of Rookery.
Not sure I follow. If range is enough of an issue beacon of virtue also becomes useless (like the last boss in Rookery).
If everyone is in range for beacon of virtue and you’re still having issues keeping everyone up, there are bigger issues going on. This is especially true now that our finshers are much stronger, so our beacon transfer inside virtue windows will now be higher.
If this were the only change, we’d be having a different discussion, but we got buffed across the board.
I hope you can also fix the random freezes soon, I’m tired of having to restart the game at the start of certain bosses and mob packs in certain dungeons. People said to rollback nvidia drivers and it didn’t fix it for me.
There is a setting in wow that stopped freezing for me in the options under graphics forget what it was called something all the way at the bottom for gpu link that I turned off fixed my issue with my amd rig. But was getting the same freeze Nvidia gpus where getting.
could you check out what was the option please? I don’t want to go into content to just crash again and have to test each option one by one
