Blizzcon Rumormill so far:

Diablo 4, 8.3 news and WoW Xpac, Pet Battle spin off mobile game (lots of leaked chinese promotional materials.)

A new IP, and a Overwatch Spin off.

WoW mobile already exists, or did you not see the mage that was leveling up while at work in WoW Classic through their phone? lol.

you guys always talk crap about phone games, but some of these phones have better rigs these days than your hunk of junks :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t trust Holinka at all.

PVP died the moment he took the helm, now he’s the class design lead when we REALLY need some nuance added back to the classes.

Phones performance are not why people dislike Mobile Gaming.

Mobile Gaming is currently being abused heavily by corporations, and especially the chinese market. Mobile Games are just disgustingly over monetizied and capitalize off ignorant people who don’t know better.

So what are we supposed to be hype for? More allied races? -_-

My hype hath runneth dry.

I’m done with hype. Hype is nothing more than artificial excitement for something yet to exist. Marketing disguised as a shared community experience.

I like this game, I play it, I enjoy myself. But I’m over anything remotely “hype”.

i dunno really. blizzcon was supposed to be a PC gaming convention from the beginning, and last go round they made a mobile game the centerpiece…

and then were confused when pc gamers were insulted by that.

nobody spends hundreds of bucks on tickets, thousands of bucks on travel to cross the country or even the world, over a freaking phone game premiere.

I don’t think I can risk the hype anymore. I was excited for BfA, and got burned. I was excited for 8.2, and got burned. I was excited for Sylvanas being an actually interesting Horde leader, and got burned.

I will say I’ll be there physically at BlizzCon again this year, because I had so much fun meeting my friends online for the first time there. It was worth the trip (and I don’t really do much for vacations throughout the year) but I have to temper my excitement.

Hype? If they can go back to original class design (Pre-Legion.) Bring back PvP Vendors and PvP gear (With resilience.) Bring Back Justice and Valor points. Bring back class sets with bonuses. Give us back gem slots on our gear and make professions matter again. Give us new abilities when we level.

Just give us the stuff we’ve lost these past couple years. Make the game as exciting as it used to be, then i’d be hyped. I have never been so bored as i was going from 110 to 120.

Edit: I realize none of this is gonna happen, especially if the Shadowlands leaks are true, but we need to look backwards if the game is gonna pop off like it used to. Just look how big the reception to classic was. People yearn to go back to what we had.

He gave us trashcan (ashran) and is currently at the helm of by far the worst the classes have been.

you mean pre-cataclysm? that was when they removed talent trees and gave us “specializations”.

Holinka also thought pvp was in a good spot when he was in charge. You cant take that man serious at all. Hes a joke IMHO. He destroyed pvp

They changed the talent trees in MoP Pre-patch. The old talent trees were very much a thing in Cata

They said that last blizzcon and look what we got. I’ll believe it when I see it go live, that we’re going to “love it”.
