I’ve just read through over 600 replies but couldn’t make it through 1900.
I just tried the event, and I could find NO WAY to customize controls or keybinds before joining a game… and all your WoW keybinds definitely don’t carry over, of course. So then as I am going through the menus I start getting a countdown to start… so… sounds like I will be doing a lot of entering and then quitting matches while I am slowly working on my configuration bit by bit.
If there’s a better way, it’s not readily apparent. Sigh.
please dont let this become part of WoW this is the worst idea ive seen estimates are way higher at maxing renown playing this if this is where WoW is going then i will end all connection with blizzard and activision once again blizzard listened to the 10 percent of top players while majority of people left behind
Unfortunately the items are behind the stupid renown wall and if you want them you have to play I would have prefered to PAY than play this boring event as it is more of a chore than fun, run around try to get any gold and get ganked.
You’ll be happy to know that this patch brought us Plunderstorm and broken chat settings in retail. Two things that players have been asking for for quite some time!
Broken UI settings in general. Like target health numbers disappearing, name plate ranges changing, and various other problems because they barely glanced at the retail game changes before pushing it live.
All the data says that people are immediately engaging with their UI settings upon entering the world. We can only take this to mean they enjoyed it and would like more.
It’s not a permanent addition to the game like when they added pokemon.
I’d argue retail has been consistently trying to destroy any concept of “mains” and building up a character considering how insanely fast and easy it is to reroll and rehear. Right now with no lockout at all you can reroll a new toon and take it to a mix of 483 and 486 gear.
I think the deal breaker for me here is that I use a macro bound to a key to toggle mouselook, since there seems to be no baked-in way to toggle mouselook off and on so you don’t have to constantly hold down the right mouse button. A 20 year old 3D game has no mouselook toggle.
I would love if someone could please tell me how to use my mouselook toggle macro in plunderstorm.
Boiz… Has Blizzard not learned anything from the recent layoffs when they were acquired by MS? As bad as this sounds, MUCH MORE are needed and fast! Whoever the genius behind this event was should get canned, ASAP! Cut all that unnecessary Fat pl0x… Ty
2000 replies to this thread alone plus literally hundreds of other threads and they’re not even going to acknowledge the backlash let alone do something to address it… I’d say “unbelievable” but I am really not having a hard time believing it, sadly.
