IMO this is the problem with the WoW community. When FFXIV added fall guys to the game people loved it. When WoW adds Fornite people lose their minds without even trying it.
Modern Blizz could make it boring for sure, but we should save our words until we actually, you know, PLAY it?

So here is a question. We have an 8-hour downtime for what I have read isn’t even part of the actual game? Yes, it has some mounts, pets and trans mogs in that game that can be used in normal classic and retail World of Warcraft, but why would that cause an 8-hour downtime? Wouldn’t this be like downloading a limited standalone game?
Personally, if people want to play it, fine but to call this a 10.2.6 update to WoW, I would rather this extra stuff been put in Season 4. The number of resources wasted should have been put into something else. Quality of life improvements to the actual game play be it PvE or PvP content. This just feels like Blizzard wanted to have a Fortnite game to being back customers and seen how it fell apart so re-allocated it as a separate add on temporary addition to their IP.
I was expecting giant customizable pirate ship homes that you could use to fast travel to anywhere in Azeroth and maybe even Draenor via portal.
AC4-like sea battles, reusing the Island Expeditions infrastructure as individual or party pirate raids.
Instead, they’re trying to shove Warzone down our throats, which no one in Call of Duty wanted.

Part of what makes BRs such a powerhouse is that even if you’re bad, or have bad luck, you can just GG. Go next immediately.
I mean…Ubisoft can’t even recreate their own AC4 experience, and you expected another company to do it?

Another hidden content for another disappointment.
I will do the content for the cosmetic, but i’m still unhappy to see nothing on the PvE like…you know… having an event in the game.

They literally cannibalized another gaming company that made BRs to make this, there was no lost effort. Any and all effort has probably shifted to the next 3 expansions at this point, thats why we get these season 4 things now

This might be the reason for Plunderstorm. The Warzone release seems to have done pretty well with $3 Billion in revenue and 125 million players a couple of years ago.

This should have been stand alone content and NOT touted as an update to WoW. This honestly has nothing to do with WoW classis or WoW retail. This is a stand alone BR.
You guys advertised this as an Update to WoW Retail. It’s not.
I am sure many will try it and many might like it, but this was supposed to be a patch for LIVE WoW. Not a stand alone BR… guess you guys are too worried about DEI hires instead of qualified developers. This is the results of those hires.

I’ve hated her since Everquest, I don’t understand how she got on at Blizzard she is legit the worse thing for any game she has anything to do with. None of the devs actually play the game which is bad but if we had someone to replace her that plays the game we might actually have a game that is worth while. Instead of listening to what the players want and need they just throw random crap like this in and expect us to be okay with it.
