Instead of making gimmicky stand alone games within our game, how about we focus on these things, since this is an mmorpg…
- Player/Guild Housing
- Updating graphics to fix clipping issues
- Make older zones relevant again.
- Creating unique classes. We all have borrowed powers and feel the same.
- Make professions fun and useful
- Stop using same mount models/recoloring. Get creative.
- Let every race choose their faction
- Solve server lag
- Have all devs play the game…cause you’re not and we can tell.
You could of added more battlegrounds instead of this…

Ya’ll are just proving the PVPers right, at this point.
You’re being whiny and entitled.
This is just extra content that can be safely ignored if you don’t like PVP. It’s not like PVP has gotten a ton of content lately. Something extra for them is justified.
I hate that I’m taking the PVPer side of this, cause I’m definitely not one.

Going out on a limb here to say, this looks like it could be a fun even though I’m not a PvPer and not a huge fan of the idea of battle-royal games.
The assurance that we can earn rewards without being the best of the best will get me to try it.
I’m a bit concerned about the math behind getting 40 renowned levels in a little under 7 days (remembering that we can’t play while the servers are down for maintenance). The rate mentioned in the interview of about 1 level every 4 matches, matches lasting 10-15 minutes, average queuing time unknown… sounds like casual players will be hard pressed to get all the rewards in such little time, especially those with IRL responsibilities like work. Maybe at least 2 weeks to a month would be better.

I have been playing this game for over 15 years, i already know what i like in the game, and pvp is not one of them.
Wow pvp is garbage and this new mode does not appeal in any way.

Why play an MMORPG for a battle royale when I can just go play Fortnite, a battle royale game that does battle royales well because it is a battle royale game.

This actually could be even easier. Depending on how much interaction you need to get rewards. Join hit a few things, let yourself get killed, and wait to get rewards.
Or,
Hit and run away the whole time.
