Hello, everyone. Concerning Hobbits is a fun and friendly AOTC guild that has been around since TBC. The guild has gone through many changes over the past 20 years. We were even a mythic guild from WoD to SL, then gave that up and focused on being a more relaxed AOTC guild.
The guild atmosphere is pretty chill. We’re not interested in blasting through Heroic as quickly as possible and then disappearing until next season. We genuinely enjoy raiding, so we take our time, joke around during trash and tease each other when we wipe to silly mistakes. There’s no rage/drama here.
Raider expectations are very simple: Do mechanics, upgrade your gear, run some gilded keys(+7 to +10) each week, do more damage than the tanks and show up to raid consistantly. If you have to miss a raid let us know asap. For addons you’ll only need BigWigs or DBM. You may be asked to install additional addons/weak auras if required for specific fights.
After getting AOTC we raid for as long as people are interested, typically until all our alts are geared to the teeth. We’ll clear the raid on Tuesdays and do other activities on Thursday, like forming M+ groups and the “Glory of the X Raider” achievements. We also do Legacy runs for achievements and collectibles. Occasionally we’ll even play free party games such as Skribbl . io or Cards Against Humanity.
We may take down 1-3 early mythic bosses if enough people are interested, as long as progress is being made. We have zero interest in wiping to the same thing for hours on end. Been there, done that.
