Hireable Mercenary Companions / Followers NPC Bots
I would love for Blizz to enable us to Hire NPC Mercenaries to help us in our Adventuring.
Oh PS: For those of you who will start saying that this can’t be done in Wow. Well Watch this video about how it has been done in a Wow Private Server. In the video you’ll see the game has Hireable NPC bot Mercenaries. With a Complete Explanation.
Please watch the video and then share your comments. Thank you.

I have a similar thing in old republic with class companions but if I could create my own team? Well i have more than enough alts to create a full raid team. I have multiple toons each covering one spec of each class. If i could use them id never have to deal with other players again in any instanced environment.
This would make me start playing wow more often than I do now. Hope they implement it in game.
I’m suddenly having flashbacks to my Legion follower charging in and killing the spectral moose I was trying to tame.

The video is comprehensive explains the entire mercenary system implementation. If we could have this in Retail wow, I would definitely make use of it.
You mean like those followers we had in Legion? absolutely not, that was terrible.
I loved the followers in legion. Did you even watch the video? What ya talking about man?
We had combat companions (not a whole merc system though) in WoD, and it was actually really cool. Your companion character was actually fairly powerful, and really made open-world content more fun.
Then we got Legion, and we got something similar… though arguably the Legion followers were overall less enjoyable than the WoD ones.
Then BfA came and… nothing.
There is something similar in XIV, there is a system set up that lets you recruit different classes and level them up through dungeons as well as the Trust System which is a set of characters (typically other main story characters) that will run dungeons with you and are made up of tanks/healers/dps so that it doesn’t matter what job you were on you could run it solo if you wanted.
That would be rather silly since we had open world companions in WoD and Legion.
I’d be down, personally, I like having a little tagalong. Bonus points if you can recruit your alts.
