Hindsight - Tu/Th Nights EST Raiding Guild Recruiting for Strategically Casual Gameplay
No one was more excited for WoW Classic than the founders of <Hindsight>. We pulled together old guildies and real life friends to form this guild, most of whom first started playing WoW just after the release of The Burning Crusade. Hearing everyone tell stories about Vanilla, we lamented over the fact that we missed WoW’s golden age. As such, we dedicated most of our time in WOTLK to 60 twinking. This attempt at re-living classic was a blast, but it just didn’t feel right; it was not the same. Now, finally, we’re ready to experience WoW as it was, and we want you to join us.
Goals
We seek to enjoy everything WoW Classic has to offer: mainly raids, but also dungeons, world PvP, BGs, grueling rep grinds, you name it! Our goal is to progress through raids as a group at a “strategically casual” pace. This means that, above all, we want to respect everyone’s real life obligations, so our raid schedule won’t be too demanding. That’s the casual aspect. The “strategic” piece means that when we’re online, we better make the most of our limited time. Be on time for raids. Have you consumables ready to go. Use available time on off days to get necessary enchants and rep grinds for important recipes. We think these tenets will make the game work for us and keep us engaged.
Culture
Our guild has been steadily growing with smart, friendly, collaborative players. On weekends and weeknights, you can find 15 - 20 of our 40 members online at a time. Most of them are in Discord as well. We always complete guild dungeon runs and group quests together - this is how we find most of our members. As such, from the outset, our members have a tight bond. If this is something you want in a guild, look no further.
Raiding
We aim to begin raiding at the end of October. Most of our character levels are in the early 40s, so this should give us plenty of time to get to 60 and be somewhat geared for Onyxia and Molten Core.
Progression raid times: Tuesday/Thursday 8:30 - 11:30pm EST
Sunday Afternoon: Optional, Alt Runs, 20 Mans
The loot system will be free roll with class/role preference. We will restrict the rolling of items to those who would most benefit from the drop. This way, people get a fair shot at loot. As we progress, preference may begin to recognize those who are more dedicated, determined by their guild rank.
Recruits begin as Trial Raiders and can make their way up to Core Raider after attending raids consistently.
What we want in YOU
We are looking, mostly, for healers and DPS. But, most of all, we want people who fit into our collaborative, relaxed culture and just want to have fun helping each other and playing as a group.
