You need to git gud then. Folks are soloing BFA mythic raids quite easily.

And you need to stop lying.

It’s so sad. Why do these trolls even bother? We know they’re trolling. They know they’re trolling. The mods know they’re trolling. Wait. Nevermind. I answered my own question .
Tell that to that Zul fight where you’re mind controlled to commit suicide.
Poor Hunters need to kill him for Blood Taming.

You need to git gud then
Lame!

Opulance requires minimum 2 people for norm/heroic. For mythic you’ll need a few more. You can’t skip halls even on norm hence why you need at least 2. You can however ignore the gems.
I just 2 manned Mythic Opulence with my warlock and my friends Blood DK the other day. So you can 2 man everything up to Mekgineer. He still needs more, though, because he gets out of control very fast with all those bots and such.
Opulence could probably be soloed on normal if you just go straight down the middle to the boss. Gets 200% hp/damage buff, but should still be doable depending on class/gear. I say this because I technically soloed it on Heroic with my friend’s warlock tagging along. His warlock alt was lower level and undergeared so we didn’t think he could solo a corridor, so I just nuked my corridor while he kept the other busy, he ended up dying in his corridor, boss got a 100% health/damage buff from his golem, and I soloed the boss with that buff. I wouldn’t try 200% buff Heroic solo yet but give it a patch or two and that might be doable soon enough.
After Opulence, the next wall is the Loa council. Akunda is an absolute PitA. But if you keep them separated, kill Paku first, then Kimbul, then Akunda, it’s doable. That being said, we were only ae to 2 man it on Mythic because Akunda couldn’t kill my pet, my Soul Leech was enough to keep me alive, and my DK friend was able to sneak in more absorbs between Akunda silences (Bwonsamdi makes it impossible to heal hp after a little bit without curse dispels). Eventually my pet killed Akunda and then we finished off Gonk. On lower difficulties a Warlock can have an Imp out, as you can get tge imp to dispel the Akunda silence even when you are silenced, and you might even be able to solo this fight on lower difficulties as a Warlock if you command your imp to attack the other boss and get it to tank that boss while you pull away and kill the rest. I don’t see any other class soloing this for a while, though, because the moment Akunda comes out its a war of attrition without an Imp dispel, and if you can’t keep the bosses separate (something only pet classes can do solo) they get a massive damage reduction buff.
After that 2 manning Rastakhan is no issue on Heroic, just burst him. Possibly soloable on Heroic if you can burst him down before Bwondi phase activates. On Mythic, the zombie totem was an issue, as we’d both get MCed, my pets would inevitably die and I couldn’t command them to kill the totem, and the fight would reset, but we somehow got around that, we aren’t exactly sure how. The DK let himself die in phase 1 and then used SS to rez in phase 2 when I got MCed, but he didn’t kill the totem, it just randomly despawned a second after MCing me. He dropped another totem later that MCed us both, but it also despawned for no discernable reason. No idea. Beyond that, we just nuked the boss. He went into the Bwondi phase while I stayed out, killed the adds, and killed King.
For Heroic Blockade, my friends warlock was able to handle a ship by himself, I just had to slow my dps down so he could get his to 50% first, since they swap ships. If I try to burst mine down, he was able to finish that one off but that activated his ships teleporter, not mine, and the big boss inevitably got 100% and wiped us. But barring that its an easy duo. Can’t be soloed though.
Jaina is easy on Heroic if you know how to deal with the freeze debuff.

I tried Ny’alotha for kicks and got wrecked by Wrathion.
Also need to point out you still need the cape to even prog the final boss, so it’s not really much easier. Legion, however, is faceroll if you do Eonar properly.
How’d you get passed council with the boss that perma CC’s you? Even with 2 it’s extremely tricky to pull off regardless of order. Once she comes out and perma CC’s the both you it gets ball to the walls crazy. I did manage to 2 man it once but that was only due to getting lucky with nanosecond dps windows.
Like I said in my post, we got past it on Mythic because Akunda couldn’t kill my pet, my soul leech shield was enough to keep me alive, and my blood DK friend was able to refresh his aborbs to keep tanking Gonk between silences. We literally just endured it while Wrathguard slowly but surely killed Akunda. I added whatever my strongest instant cast was in the fraction of a second between silences (typically Demonic Strength or Griomoire:Felguard) but most of the damage to Akunda came from my pet. It was brutal, but eventually Akunda died, and once she died it was gg.
EDIT: Another trick is to have a warlock imp, as it can dispel even when you’re silenced, but I couldn’t tank the boss myself in Mythic so I had to have Wrathguard out
Yea see that’s a problem. You still need very specific specs to pull off certain encounters. Blizz seriously needs to start swinging the nerf bat to all bfa raids like they did to legion raids.
Pass it, bro. One puff pass!
Oh I do agree. It sure would be nice if some of these mechanics got a working over, if only just to make them soloable on a purely mechanical standpoint.
To add to this, even if you could somehow solo Opulence, the Loa council is going to wall you afterwards because Akuma does his brain stun thing that pacifies you for 30 seconds which is his recast time on the ability. You can sort of cheese it with immunities/AMS, but that doesn’t change the fact that the bosses provide each other with a 99% damage reduction. At minimum, you need 2 bodies but in reality it is 3 and one of the 3 needs to be a healer to dispel the pacify (or if they get picked, at least it leaves someone else free to hurt their respective loa).
Even if by some miracle you could solo the Loa council, Rastakan is likely also impossible to solo on account you need to send people to the dead realm to beat up stuff there. This is why we need a legacy raid setting that disables things like RP and mechanics while allowing people who, for whatever reason, want to pretend they are doing it at relevant levels, to do it in a group of some kind. Legacy mode should disable drops and instead give you collectible tokens for the mog item if you win the personal loot odds so people wanting gold do it the “real” way and people wanting mogs can do it as a legacy raid sacrificing gold and “fun” for items guaranteed to be a collection appearance if they get a drop.

I just wish I could solo Mythrax and do G’huun to get some mogs. Not even on Mythic mind you.
I spent an hour trying to do Mythrax on normal, using the method from the Youtube videos where you jump from the rock at just the right time and right angle to glitch the MC orb. Not trying that fight again until Blizzard nukes this idiotic mechanic from orbit.

Tell that to that Zul fight where you’re mind controlled to commit suicide.
I honestly didn’t even look up the fight and had no idea he was going to MC me I killed him on normal with this warlock, and I basically died right as he died. So with some more gear I should be able to do it on my hunter. Won’t try it on a tank class, though, clearly they won’t have enough DPS for a while.
I did the whole cape chain… i beat mythic wrathion even tough it was challenging… 2nd boss got me… left it There (on dh)

spent an hour trying to do Mythrax
Mythrax stun orbs and ghun are both bosses long overdue for the nerf bat. They’re both bosses from the first tier of BfA and still cause big problems to this day. I don’t think there’s ever been a mog run pug that has managed to down mythic ghun to date. Let that sink in.
Contrast that to mythic N’zoth that I’ve managed to kill twice.

What’s the latest mythic raids that are Soloable?
Probably Legion except Kil’Jaeden and Eonar.
Highest raid I’ve done solo was the one on Argus. It was on whatever the default difficulty is, probably normal. I wandered in by accident while running around gathering treasure.
I’ve since done a couple of lower ones now that I know that green portal means raid.

Probably Legion except Kil’Jaeden
Dunno about Eonar, haven’t tested that one yet, but Kil’jaeden on Mythic is possible…
…If you’re a Death Knight with double Death’s Advance and Wraithwalk. MAYBE Worgen Darkflight is required too, don’t quite remember.
The trick with the orbs is to always plan around trying to succeed with them, but if you’re anywhere in the center circle and one is about to explode, Death’s Advance. Then use the speed from it to get to any orb it won’t protect against. Wraithwalk (And Darkflight if Worgen) is there to help reposition quickly if you’re caught in a bad spot, so you don’t use up all of your Death’s Advance too quickly while your ranged attacks (Howling Blast with Frost Fever, whatever Unholy does to put on diseases, I don’t think Death’s Caress for Blood is enough DPS, but it might be) whittle him down. Then when he lands, just go berserk and down him as quickly as possible. Even if you’re a bit slow and his darkness comes to fruition, he can still very much die in the middle of it from DoTs.
Death’s Advance is the cheesiest thing I have ever seen. And I love it.
