About us
Higher Ground was formed in early BFA as a casual Heroic raiding guild. Over the years the guild has grown to become a serious Mythic progression guild made up of like-minded people who want to clear bosses and have a good time doing it!
Our guild is comprised of two teams: Team Alterac, which focuses on Cutting Edge each tier, and Team Blackrock, which focuses on Mid-level Mythic raiding.
As a guild we like to push keys together, and have a solid roster of high-IO players who like to run keys and help others reach their M+ goals.
What to expect from us
- Clear communication of all expectations
- Raid plans and strategies are provided in advance
- Feasts, potions, vantus runes provided in all raids. Guild repairs provided during progression
Raider Expectations
- Keep up with gear/raid reputation
- Be prepared for raid with all necessary materials
- Understand current boss fights and review raid plans/strategies
- Maintain a high level of performance in both parses and mechanics
- Sign up for all scheduled raids by the cutoff time
- Be online and ready for invite 15 minutes before raid time
Bench Process
- Bench players are expected to be online at raid time
- Be available and ready to step into the raid if required
- Keep up with all raider expectations

Higher Ground is focused on maintaining an environment where everyone can feel welcome and enjoy their time in the game. Raiding, especially Mythic, takes a lot of effort and means spending a lot of time with your fellow guild members, so our first and foremost goal is to ensure that the atmosphere of all our raids is enjoyable!
