Blizzard is adding a subrace to void elves with the new shadowlands customisations options, highborne options is a must for night elves.

Can we focus on the actual highborne first?
Suramar was the second largest city behind Zin Azshari, was it not? Most of the night elves are keldorei resistance. They weren’t highborne. But the nightborne, some of them were highborne. Yet they only have like four hairstyles meanwhile night elves have ten plus.
I don’t think Night Elves should get highborne customization, especially not before Nightborne. To use their hairstyles, their jewelry. Most of the highborne up and split with Sunstrider when Tyrande gave her arcane ultimatum.

Nightborne will get more customizations after they finish with core races.
“Most” of them, not all of them. You don’t want the alliance to get highborne customizations because now horde has them too? You think is fair to deny blood elves from getting customizations because alliance has high elves and void elves now?

No. You are now the rolling-around-in-dirt-and-leaves hippy-dippy elves.
If you want to be a Highborne Night Elf or High elf, you need to go Horde.

I don’t support this idea.
I think each race should have its own niche.
I feel these suggestion take too much from what the nightborne bring to the game.
The more night elves have, the less unique the nightborne are and it devalues them as an option.

I don’t support this. The Night Elves just aren’t as Arcane oriented for the customization options you’re calling for. Night Elves are by and large lowborne nature lovers with messy hair and face markings.
That being said, I can’t wait for the customization improvements to Nightborne that are surely in the works. Sounds like you are, too, OP.

I feel like an exchange of assets between Night Elves and Nightborne could be beneficial to both races if done properly.
Night Elves have already got somebody the Nightbornes appearance options via a hairstyle and a skin color, so Night Elves are already benefitting from this to a degree. They could use a couple of more refined hairstyles, which don’t necessarily have to be from Nightborne and maybe a few more jewelry options for that Azshara/Highborne fantasy.
Nightborne though are far more lacking and could benefit far more from an asset exchange, namely some skin and hair colors from Night Elves befitting of the Nightborne aesthetic and some hairstyles from Blood Elves and/or Night Elves, with a proper bun and braid being needed. This isn’t to say they shouldn’t be adapted closer to their NPC counterparts down the line with original content, but with every core race demanding resources at this time, exchange of assets is a far more realistic option at this juncture.

Nothing they could give to night elves could make nightborne less unique because they have different models.
Most of the races are getting jewelries and fancy hairstyles, why only night elves can’t have?
Almost all the races have more than one theme. Blood elves have arcane, light and more nature oriented farstriders, why night elves need to be stuck with just one theme?

It seems that female night elves already got 1 highborne hairstyle, but 1 or 2 more wouldn’t hurt.
