Between Bailamos and the win trading in MoP, RBGs were forever ruined. Unfortunate considering they were pretty fun in cata.
It’s funny, I remember that thread. Bailamos made it very difficult for a lot of players to get 2400 in cata. Every time we would start queueing, he would hop on. He would dodge any of the real teams and farm the pugs. It was so dumb how the mmr worked. His entire team would be stacked with 2800+ players and they would have 2-3 0 cr or low cr pilots and we would see them at 2200-2400 or even lower.
Were it not for the stupid amount of cheating, we might have been able to win a few more times against him.
Exploits:
- Fast capped in Gilneas with worgen racial stacking.
- AOE gripped into the chimney on gilneas or the stones in the middle of Eots. They would just leave you there.
- Used goblin racial to get on the roof at WW.
- Fast capping with glider on EOTS.
- Wall hiding the flag/fc on wsg.
He would also ddos specific players. We would ‘randomly’ lose players from time to time. The worst was when a player he knew would join a pug and then just throw the match. That guy went on to have the arrogance to say “He made rbgs” what they were. Blizzard was so slow to react to everything. That he kept any title is beyond me.
