High Heels NOW!

No worries. These people will always be able to tell elves apart to whine for yet another elf race.

Something tells me there will be more stomping done at the Inn in Goldshire.

Lol! I love heels. I’ve had a few great pairs over the years I do feel comfortable running in but some I wouldn’t risk it. Depends how they are made.

In movies they tend to give wonder woman and whatever wedges as if that would be more stable and buyable on an action hero character but wedges are the biggest ankle breakers ever! Traditional stilettos are where it’s at!

I am not the most up to date…but from my very brief experience in modding? You almost have to change the entire mesh. (I modded a bit…installing stuff in Skyrim, etc.). And in some cases, the heels in Skyrim could clip the ground.

The heels change the physical properties so the mesh/animation would effectively need to be altered to support it I believe. The height too. And that in turn may impact how the other armor, etc. is rigged to the character due to the change in height?

For an example think of the Viera in FFXIV. Viera are a race that kind of walk on the ball of their foot. I don’t believe they ever made Viera with flat feet in the game. But in that scenario it’s easier because their foot is already shaped/designed for a heel. But when you go from flatwear to heels and back again that I think is more complex.

and small furry creatures, agreed

Kinky boots, I want my Kinky boots!

I twisted my ankles so many times in wedges but never in heels. I hate wedges for it.

I think in the Sims 4 they get around this by raising the foot up and shortening the calf/lower leg. Height and everything else stays the same. Just the shoe/foot/calf change with different footwear.

Think this is what they did when they gave Tyrande heels with her cataclysm update; she still used pretty much all the standard classic nightelf animations and rigging with shorter calves and real thick ankles to make up the difference.

They really aren’t all that practical for combat. They would get stuck in the mud and running is heels is hard as hell!

Hmmm

Seems to be a skill some are not spec’d into

Just got home. Had a tomato sandwich with a side of extra tomato.

I’m ready to do some high healing if y’all will have me. I’ll even pay for the first 10 repairs.

Player base is tone deaf. They want heels in a game that already struggles with the Z axis lol.

High Heels :no_entry_sign:
High Wheels :white_check_mark:

This is why you have to learn to be like Xal’atath and float everywhere. Then you can wear whatever shoes you like (or none)!

Considering those would require individual animation for each race and not work on the vast majority of races…

ODDS ARE UNLIKELY. They can’t even get new races to have fully functional transmogs.

0.02% of players will use them that way, but sure thing
