Yeah, if I mained Alliance I would be salty as hell if they gave me Thalassian Elf for The Third Time. Void Elves get more narrative presence than nearly every single Alliance race as is, despite being a small gathering of outcasts carved out of a Horde race. And that is before considering Midnight.
