Thank you for the heads up, you are the best!
I didnât say they were races specifically⌠but races also arenât species. Which is what you actually mean to say here.
Race is just the word Blizzard uses for its choices its not a word that means much beyond the social. Real life humans are different races but theyâre all the same species. There isnât some major difference between them beyond culture and ideology.
This idea that allowing a group of elves to be playable on both sides would be nullified by the word âraceâ is hogwash.
You see I donât have any issues with this point. Thats fair. But pretending that there isnât a difference between High Elves and Blood Elves is literally ignoring the lore of ones supposed loved and adored race.
I mean this was a choice by Blizzard doesnât mean people need to agree with it. Given how many void elves there supposedly are it also doesnât really hold up as a legitimate reasoning.
I was unaware I was hiding this? Should I go back to announcing my alts when I switch around?
Itâs more the whole fake personalities being completely different that caught my attention so I pointed it out, you act like you are cool with the options Blood Elves and Void Elves have to be High Elves on Fen but then you switch to that one and act like High Elves should be a separate thing, itâs just cringe is all.
I⌠huh⌠Iâll reconsider how I speak on them then. I did not intend to sound particularly different. I apologize.
Edit: to be clear whoever I am on I am fine with options on void elves and also fine with an AR if Blizzard goes that route. (I also support more customizations for Blood Elves.)
Yes, eventually we will get proper High Elves on the Alliance, but I doubt that will come from an actual separate alliance playable race, itâll more than likely come from the inevitable faction merge and allow Blood Elves to be Alliance.
Playable High Elves on the Alliance that arenât void tainted.
To help people understand, yes people just want Blood Elves but on the Alliance.
No, this isnât a high ask, we have 3 going on 4 races that will be playable on both factions.
Whew youâre gonna be disappointed
I donât play the dainty elves so I wonât be, but weâll have to suffer through decades more of High Elf posts if they donât.
Copy and pasting is in fact a high ask when we look at how races are done in WoW nowadays
It certainly appears to be with lore, the wiki and the books against ya.
Ya know, dear Void Elves, maybe you should look to coming over to the Horde at this point since the Alliance wonât acknowledge you as High Elves.
We have punch, pie, and cake.

If they are going to keep recycling bodies and the such, just do the best cheese move you can do and make a few more races have undead versions. Not Elves.
There is nothing in lore that is against this.
I find the lore largely irrelevant in the discussion of high elves being added or not.
At best I could see them making Blood Elves both factions.
With the eye color changes belfs can make, the only thing thatâs hanging things up is faction lock.
Yâall keep talking about them I havenât seen these elves anywhere. Anywhere. I checked the burnt down tree on 4 different sides and nothing. I checked that village nobody goes to where theyâre rumored to be from time to time. Iâve been at the sun well just before sun set in the winter. Nothing. Starting to think they donât exist.
I know the obsession with high elves is due to racism, I just canât prove it.
I disagree, as I have statedâŚ
I donât know what youâre trying to say.
This says nothing of the High Elves that are currently still in the Alliance.
Ohh, youâre one of these people.
I lived as a high elf for 10,000 years. IT GOT OLD!

This is a video game. Seriously, seek help.
