they seriously need to move on from this troll topic

Tbh that’s false anyways the person they’re mad at about that has nothing to do w the discord, it was some person from twitter so why they’re also applying that to people they already dislike I have no idea maybe it’s just an attempt to add that on too. And none of this has anything to do w anything idk why it’s a thing I think they’re just trying to bump their helf threads by making noise.

Rename Blood Elves High Elves I think is a good idea though.

Yeah that too, I was replying about one of the above posts. But yeah you don’t see me making it the point of every post in an effort to bump these threads smh.

Void Elves and Blood Elves are both equally High Elves.

Pretending to be a specific race is rather lame. First it was Quel’dorei, and now they’ve continued the trend with Wildhammers, other troll tribes, and just recently Darkfallen.
It’s a bad trend. They shouldn’t have added any race as a skin option. If they didn’t want to add it as a full playable race, they should have just said “no”.

Don’t care. We didn’t have a model like that and we desperately needed one.

Also shouldn’t have added some lame compromise race they never intended to develop, just to cover some cosmic power, when we had plenty of other races already developed and steeped in said power (Broken, Ethereals, Arrakoa, Naga, etc…)

The problem was the outcry. Blizzard had already said basically blood elves were high elves, then just gave eye options and skin options for all of them.

It should have just been a no from the beginning with the community being told to go pound sand.

Ren’dorei weren’t made to cover a cosmic power. They were made specifically to spite people that wanted Quel’dorei.
I know the religious zealots will attack me for saying that, but there’s no other logical conclusion one can come to for something as stupid as Ren’dorei. They had been constantly asked for Quel’dorei and the fervor had increased drastically in the couple years before Ren’dorei were announced. It was clearly done in spite, and I could be convinced that Kul’tirans were spite aimed at Ogre fans.

See, the problem with the “Blood elves are totally High elves, guys…” response was that they knew exactly what they were being asked for.
They were being asked for the Silver covenant to be playable. They knew that, everyone knew that. But they had to be snotty about it and make that little quip, which ultimately made requests for High elves even worse for a bit.

Like with every negative issue Blizzard faces, their own bad behavior is the root cause.

It’s official though.

Stretching is strong with this one.

They where made to cover a cosmic power and reinstate the thallasian beleif that they can master any power, a story point they used several times during the warcraft series.

Also it’s not really a stupid plot point either. Just one that needs more story development, something alliance had already experienced with another race when they released (Dreanei)

And they’ve made many other mistakes that are official too.

I also support the Alliance High Elf like a Silver Covenant Elf as well! Give us DragonHawk class also!

The Sin’dorei already existed, and didn’t contradict that paradigm until AFTER they made the Void elves.
You’re saying they were made to solve a problem their own creation created.

I mean… yeah. But I’m giving the Devs the benefit of the doubt. The whole, “never attribute to malice what can be explained as ignorance and stupidity,” bit.

Blizzard really did screw up badly with the Void Elves. And they have failed big time with them too.

Discord remains a silly place.

Extra customizations on void elves to offer the fantasy works. Void elves deserve their own shiny things, though. (As do blood elves, and apparently female worgen, and also everyone else.)
