Technically they aren’t “high elves” but i’m interested in seeing all the players who wanted high elves be happy with their pale skinned void elves with blue eyes. Because if they are happy it means they never wanted high elves in the first place they wanted a carbon copy of blood elves. But yeah this is a huge middle finger to Horde and blood elf lovers. I never ever want to hear the alliance cry horde bias for years to come because i will surely put this in their posts of how they screwed the horde over for the alliance.

I’d say nightborne and LFD deserve the extra love more than void elves currently

The Horde ones are impostors though. They use their sorcery to look like us sweet-looking Alliance folks.

Edit: I’m must 100% glad that this will hopefully put to the bed the anti/pro high elves threads. So, what do we move on to next?

I’m happy for everyone that likes elves and wanted high elves, specifically. It’s always good when people can get a little closer to what they want their character fantasy to be.

They aren’t removing any existing options for velves. I will probably keep mine as is.

The wording of it is what is trollish, not the information. I had already read the official thread, which did not have the tone of giving a middle finger to the non helfer folks. Me personally, I won’t be putting High Elf in any of my TRP’s, but one Velf character will benefit from this as it will suit her story. Point being, don’t be a jerk about it. Just be happy your getting a customization you wanted and without the snark towards others. And before you say but

They still do not carry high elf lore! Void elves are supposed to be “transformed” by the void. This is another butt pull from blizz!

It’s not exactly high elves but I feel like this is a generous compromise. I felt like void elves were a good compromise as it was already though, but whatever.
